Bennon Trek Merino Socks - Black

I have tried them – they are comfortable and warm, fit well in shoes and work great during longer walks. The price is also favourable – I definitely recommend buying them.

I haven't worn them yet, but they make a great first impression. The socks are thick and contain a lot of merino wool for this price range. I bought them for my wife to wear with LOWA boots. They are not too high. They look solid and of good quality.

The socks performed well during trekking in the Tatras and two days in the Silesian Beskids, even in warmer weather. My feet stayed dry, there were no unpleasant odours or blisters – I rate them five out of five.

Comfortable and warm socks for cooler days. Their big plus is the 60% merino wool content – much more than in many other merino socks. They fit well (size 39-41), do not sag or stick out. They are pleasant to wear, easy to wash, dry quickly and are quite durable.

At this price, they are really solid merino wool socks, they dry quickly and don’t cause blisters. They work well in high boots on mountain trails.

Decent and warm socks. They don’t cause blisters and handle moisture wicking well. They dry relatively quickly. However, they are a little looser than I expected, despite choosing the correct size. Nevertheless – I recommend them.

Bennon Trek Merino socks - Black, size 39-41: great – soft, comfortable, well-made, not tight, fit the leg perfectly, the cuff holds the sock firmly in place and doesn’t cause discomfort. Very warm, fit perfectly on a size 39 foot.

Overall quality is very good. However, the elastane content (10%) seems too high to me – because of this, the socks are a bit too loose when worn. In my opinion, 5% elastane would be enough, usually you see around 2%. For this reason, I rate them 4 instead of 5 stars. I’m wearing them for the first time and they are worse than Brubeck socks.

These socks are excellent. They are stretchy, comfortable to wear and keep you warm. The cuff stays well on the calf and doesn't slide down. I wash them at 60°C without any problem and they keep their quality. I can honestly recommend them.

For this price, they are really very good. They fit the foot perfectly and provide comfort when wearing. I also have no major complaints about how well they retain heat. In terms of appearance, they look good. It's just a pity that – unlike Brubeck socks – they don't have left and right markings.

I ordered them to match with Bennon Salvador 02 Low - Black shoes and for winter dives as an addition to Scubatech Komfort 5 mm neoprene boots. The socks are excellent to wear, they fit the feet perfectly, and you quickly feel warmth after entering a room. After spending 55 minutes in cold water (4°C), only my toes got cold, but they quickly warmed up once on land. For clarity – both colour versions of the socks are very good, regardless of the model, and my earlier mistake in the review was accidental, and I apologise to everyone who noticed.

I bought them as an addition to Bennon Terenno High - Green shoes and for winter diving as a complement to Scubatech Komfort 5 mm neoprene boots. They worked great – after getting into the car or indoors and staying there for a short while, I immediately felt how the socks warmed my feet. After 55 minutes in water at 4°C (29.12.2024), only my toes got cold, but they warmed up quickly on land.

Overall, the socks make a good impression and have a high wool content, but unfortunately the cuffs are too tight, which could be problematic for some people.

Good quality and comfortable socks. Your feet don’t sweat in them, and the socks stay dry throughout the whole working day. Made from high-class materials. I am very satisfied and definitely recommend them.

They’re not bad. You can wear them for a long time before washing again. Of course, that depends on the individual case. They’re comfortable, and that’s the most important thing.
