The antenna really is very long, but it significantly improves the Baofeng radio’s range, and the price matches the quality of this product. I also have a shorter version of this antenna, but this one works much better.
Flexible antenna designed for Baofeng radios and compatible models. Constructed of metal strips, it allows folding in two or three points. The outer layer is covered with rubber protection, which protects the antenna from mechanical damage.
Clearly improves the transmission and reception range of the signal. Equipped with a wideband SMA-F (female) connector, it fits a wide range of radios. Despite its length of 80 cm, the flexible design allows it to be conveniently bent and transported. Included is a fabric velcro, allowing to fasten the antenna in the folded position.

Very practical and durable against bending and snagging, works well both outside and in buildings. A great addition to the radiotelephone that helps increase its range. Both amateurs and professionals will appreciate it.
-
The antenna amplifies the signal well, fits perfectly with the UV-5R model. It also comes packed in a handy case, which makes it easy to carry and replace if needed.
-
It really is large, but the signal gain is noticeable, I definitely recommend it.
-
After installing the antenna to the radio, there remains a small gap between the antenna and the device. For the field, it is worth taking a long antenna for a stationary radio, although even when folded into three parts it is quite large. The signal gain, however, is clearly noticeable. I recommend it.

For a stationary radio in the field, it may be too large.
-
In person, it turned out to be a little too large.
-
The antenna works properly. In my case, after installation, there was no gap between the antenna and the device, contrary to what I read online. I can recommend this product.
-
The antenna is different from the one in the photo, but it still significantly improves range. It's worth buying!
-
Clearly increases the radio’s range, and the ability to bend the antenna makes it easier to adapt to usage conditions.
-
Works flawlessly, allows for reception of more stations than the standard antenna in UV5R, and there are no strange interferences, which improves scanning quality. Only once did the cover become loose when unscrewed, revealing the interior, but after tightening it more firmly everything was fine.
-
It works! And exceptionally well.
-
Product as described, I recommend it.

It may indeed improve the range, but it really is very long.
