During heavy rainfall, moisture collects inside, which is typical for single-layer constructions. Despite this, I recommend this product and the Militaria.pl shop.

A rain poncho with the function of converting into a semi-open tent. A lightweight, durable and versatile piece of gear that can prove invaluable in the field. Useful both on wilderness expeditions and as a piece of equipment in a car or bicycle pannier, providing protection from rain in the event of a sudden change in weather.
Waterproof polyester with PU coating, Rip-stop weave
The poncho is made of durable polyester. The use of Rip-Stop weave increases its resistance to tears and mechanical damage. To ensure water resistance of 5000 mm/m², the material is coated with a layer of polyurethane (PU).
Zipper with flap, 5 peg loops
The front part of the poncho is equipped with a zipper covered by a Velcro flap, which reduces the risk of water and wind getting inside. Velcro panels are placed on the sleeves, allowing to attach patches. The design is reinforced by a lashing loop at the top of the hood and 5 peg loops arranged at the bottom and ends of the sleeves, allowing the poncho to be securely fastened to the ground.
Possibility to use as a tent
The poncho can be used as a semi-tent. To do this, place a branch or trekking pole as a central support, and attach the edges to the ground with pegs. When the two ponchos are joined together, it is possible to create a closed tent, with the sleeve openings acting as ventilation windows, allowing effective air circulation.

A very interesting, innovative concept that combines the function of a rain cape with a tarp. The price is exceptionally low, which raises some doubts about the quality, but so far I am satisfied – time will tell how it holds up.

I am deducting one star because I expected the material to be thicker. I didn't notice earlier that there is no frame – the poles needed to set up the tent, like in old military shelters. I need to look for poles from another tent. I would be willing to pay more for a complete set. I will check the waterproofness at the next opportunity.

The product is well made, and the drawstring for adjusting the width over the shoulders is a plus, as it allows for a better fit and prevents pressure on the neck like in some other models. It is also very spacious.
