durable outer material and DWR coating
The outer part is made from 100% durable polyamide, characterised by exceptional abrasion resistance and weather resistance. The hydrophobic DWR coating (free from harmful PFC compounds) enhances moisture and dirt resistance.
Waterproof HDTX membrane, taped seams and YKK water-resistant zips
The Ararat model is equipped with a HDTX membrane that guarantees waterproofness at a level of 10,000 mm/m2 and breathability at a level of 10,000 g/m2/24 h. This effectively protects against heavy rainfall and wind, while also wicking away excess moisture. Additional rain protection is provided by durable taped seams and YKK branded water-resistant zips.
DuPont Sorona filling for thermal comfort
Under the soft lining is a synthetic DuPont Sorona filling, which offers high thermal insulation at a low weight. The model is designed to provide warmth similar to traditional thick winter jackets while remaining significantly lighter and more comfortable to wear. The elongated fit further protects the lower parts of the body from the cold.
4 PRACTICAL POCKETS
The jacket is equipped with a total of four pockets:
- one chest pocket
- two side pockets
- one internal pocket
Each pocket is equipped with a zip with a handle, making it easy to open and close even with gloves on.
adjustable hood with brim and warm fleece
The model is fitted with an integrated hood with two-zone adjustment (around the face and back of the head), allowing for precise fitting. The stiff brim provides additional protection from rain and wind. The inner part of the hood is finished with soft Polartec microfleece, increasing thermal comfort and effectively protecting against the cold.
zip, adjustable cuffs, reflective elements
Two-way zip placed slightly higher than the bottom edge of the material for greater freedom of movement when fastening the jacket. Cuffs equipped with Velcro allow for a comfortable fit to wrists or gloves.
The high stand-up collar effectively protects the neck from the wind, and Alpinus Safety reflective elements on the hood increase safety when moving in the dark.
