This feature was beneficial for the original MA-1 jacket users - USAF pilots - who increased their chances of rescue in emergency situations. Today, this creative solution is helpful when walking along the unlit side of a road outside the city.
Thermal strip and elastic cuffs
The main fastening on the MA-1 TT model is a one-way zip with an eco-leather handle for easy operation when wearing gloves. The internal thermal strip secures the zip, providing additional protection against the cold. At the collar, wrists, and waist, there are elastic drawstrings that shield against the cold and allow for a better fit to the user's silhouette.
