A trekking backpack is one of the most important pieces of equipment on a mountain trip. Your backpack for the mountains should be both packable and comfortable to use so that you can fully enjoy your trip. It is also important that the trekking backpack is made of good quality materials. Given the dynamically changing weather conditions in the mountains, your backpack should protect the gear you carry inside from bad weather, such as rain or snow. We encourage you to check the offer of trekking backpacks in the MILITARY.EU store
The choice of a good trekking backpack should largely depend on how long your trip will last and how many items you need to take with you. In the MILITARY.EU store you will find trekking backpacks in various capacities. Small trekking backpacks are those with a capacity of up to 30 liters. Such a backpack will be best for short trips, for example, on a day hike in the mountains. A medium backpack with a capacity of up to 50 liters will be a good choice for a multi-day trek. On the other hand, large trekking backpacks with a capacity of up to 85 liters are models made for long expeditions. When choosing a trekking backpack, you should also pay attention to the material of its construction. The purpose of a backpack is to protect the items carried in it, so your backpack should be made of durable materials. The carrying system of the trekking backpack is also important, as it affects the comfort of the backpack. Pay attention to whether the backpack is equipped with adjustable suspenders and an adjustable chest and hip belt. This is important especially with larger models, as the backpack should fit snugly around your back and shoulders so as not to cause skin abrasions. With larger, heavier backpacks, abrasions can occur more often than with lighter luggage. It's worth looking at trekking backpack models that have been equipped with the MOLLE system. MOLLE panels allow you to attach additional items like a first aid kit or pockets to the backpack.
The MILITARY.EU store offers a wide selection of trekking backpacks. Models of mountain backpacks available in our assortment come from well-known and respected manufacturers such as Alpinus, Badger Outdoor, Fjord Nansen, Helikon-Tex, Mil-tec, Salewa, Tatonka, Texar and Wisport, among others.
