Blaupunkt

Blaupunkt is a German brand with over a century of tradition, known primarily for producing high-quality electronic equipment, including car audio devices and RTV and household appliances. The company was founded in 1924 in Germany under the name Ideal Radiotelefon- & Apparatefabrik, with its production plant located in Bollersdorf near Berlin. The first products were headphones and crystal receivers.

Each pair of headphones was tested and marked with a blue dot as a symbol of the highest quality. Over time, customers began to associate the products with this blue dot, leading to the adoption of the name Blaupunkt (from German "blue dot") as the official company name in 1938.
