Maskpol is a Polish brand specializing in the production of protective equipment and gear for uniformed services and the military. The company has many years of tradition and a broad range of offerings, including ballistic helmets, gas masks, tactical vests, and protective clothing. Maskpol products are used by the Polish Army, Police, Border Guard, and other uniformed formations both in the country and abroad.
Origin and history of the brand
The origins of Maskpol date back to the 1960s when the first industrial plants related to the production of iron and steel were established in the current Panki municipality. In 1967, a decision was made to transform the existing facilities into a respiratory protection equipment factory. Official production began on September 1, 1968. Initially, the company operated within the structures of WSK "PZL Warsaw II", and its assortment included filters and protective half-masks.
In the 1970s, Maskpol began producing modern gas masks, such as the MP-4, and then gradually expanded its offerings and production capabilities. In 1991, the enterprise was separated from the WSK structures, and in 1994 it was transformed into a joint-stock company. Since the late 1990s, the company has undergone dynamic development – new technologies were implemented, and the production of additional types of protective equipment was launched. Maskpol is currently part of the Polish Armaments Group, and its main headquarters is located in the village of Konieczki in the Silesian Voivodeship. The company also has a modern production plant in Częstochowa.
