A well-designed plate, also comes with a backpack! The MAPA camouflage is both a plus and a minus – for those who have a complete set in this pattern, it’s a great thing, and it also fits WZ quite well ;) Really successful plate.
The TMP-02 Plate Carrier tactical vest features a practical Zip-On backpack. Constructed with durable Cordura 770 in MAPA camouflage, it's tailored for SAPI type hard ballistic plates in sizes S, M, and L. Ideally suited for military and other uniformed personnel, it is also favored by advanced ASG enthusiasts.
Covered with MOLLE/PALS system mounting tapes, the front and back of the vest allow for customizable pouch and carrier arrangements. Adjustable cummerbund side modules are also fitted with MOLLE/PALS tapes.
The TMP-02 vest features robust ROC 40 and ROC 80 quick release buckles. A velcro panel is positioned at chest level on the vest's front, making it possible to attach emblems such as insignia, national flags, unit symbols, or Morale Patches.
Comfort pads on the shoulders include mesh spacers to provide comfort and ventilation, with additional straps for cable management.
Included is a backpack with a quick-mount setup, secured to the vest via MOLLE webbing and two zippers. Extra velcro panels and MOLLE webbing allow it to function independently as storage or a pouch.
MAPA camouflage was created by Maciej Dojlitko, an accomplished researcher and graduate at the Faculty of Architecture and Design, Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk, and author of Theory of Deconstruction of Visual Communication. Tools for designing military camouflage (Gdansk 2015). This innovative concept, backed by stringent theoretical and experimental support, such as computer analysis of vast terrain imagery, has garnered attention from specialists and military apparel producers. In 2017, MAPA made its inaugural appearance at the International Defense Industry Exhibition in Kielce, featured in the Dromader accouterment system by Maskpol—a Polish Armaments Group entity. Although developed for the Territorial Defense Army, the MAPA pattern was viewed as a potential replacement pattern for the entire Polish Armed Forces' current wz.93 camouflage. However, it has yet to be adopted as the official camouflage for the Polish Army.
The most important features of MAPA camouflage in the basic forest variant:
- 6 colors forming layers resembling levels on a map,
- colors optimized for operations in the forests of Central Europe,
- use of the illusion of three-dimensionality and anamorphosis effect,
- biomorphic shapes making the design similar to vegetation,
- strongly contrasting elements imitating flashes of light and shadows,
- deformation of the masked silhouette using macro pattern,
- color noise reproduced by means of a micro pattern.
The MAPA pattern offers an intriguing option compared to leading contemporary camouflage patterns like PenCott, MultiCam, Kryptek, Flecktarn, or Finnish M/05. In certain aspects, it surpasses them, more accurately capturing the palette found in Central European forests from late spring to early autumn.

Great set at a very good price. The plate carrier is well made and has plenty of space to attach accessories with the molle system. The included backpack easily fits gear for several hours of shooting or a short tactical outing.

Great vest, lots of Velcro space for those who like it, a spacious backpack and plenty of room to attach extra accessories to the vest. I only have trouble adjusting the sides because I'm slim, but maybe it's a sign I should put on some weight.

Carefully made, well-thought-out vest with no unnecessary extras. That’s how an ideal plate carrier should be. The molle straps are sewn on solidly; nothing is coming loose or tearing. Comfortable to wear and doesn’t cause much sweating. I definitely recommend it.
-
The vest is comfortable and offers plenty of adjustment options. It's just a pity that there's no space for side inserts. The front pocket is too small to fit a phone, but it works well for smaller items.
