These are my favourite winter socks. They are very warm and comfortable to wear, perfect for several-day trips. Unfortunately, after a few washes they shrink a bit and are harder to put on.

Wisport Winter Trekking Socks
Thick trekking socks designed for winter expeditions, ensuring excellent thermal protection in low temperatures. Thanks to the use of thermal insulation materials, they effectively shield the feet from the cold, reducing heat loss.
Effective thermal insulation
Advanced Thermolite material from DuPont provides excellent thermal insulation properties. The spiral, elastic fibers make the socks soft, pleasant to the touch, and capable of retaining heat even in humid conditions.
Their low volume and high wear resistance make them ideal for demanding winter conditions.
Anatomical fit and additional padding
A specially designed cut adapted to trekking footwear minimizes pressure points and reduces the risk of chafing. Anatomical shaping for the left and right foot enhances wearing comfort, while additional padding in key areas reduces fatigue and helps prevent swelling.
Terry reinforcements, wide cuff
Three-layer, contoured terry fabric applied to the heels, toes, and shins effectively absorbs shocks, increasing foot protection and sock durability. A wide cuff and elastic bands improve stabilization, preventing the socks from slipping during use.

Great socks for frosty days and long expeditions. They excellently retain warmth even in snow and at -10°C. The build quality is flawless; after the first season, they look like new.

These socks are great for cold days. For temperatures above zero, I use the all-season version from Wisport, but for frosts these are irreplaceable. Combined with suitable footwear, feet stay dry and there are no problems with chafing.

This is a very good basic sock, although I wouldn't class it as very warm. Perfect for autumn and spring. In this category, the price is very competitive.

Very good socks – well made and they retain warmth for a long time. While walking in -10/-12 degrees, sometimes they were even too warm, and my feet stayed dry. I recommend them!

I tend to wear out socks quickly, but these have proven exceptionally durable. They work well both every day and during mountain expeditions. They don't restrict movement, retain warmth, and don't cause your feet to overheat. I only regret not having more of them for cold days.

These are great, warm, and comfortable socks that are kind to your feet and ideal for winter. Well made, so I bought another pair. The quality-to-price ratio is very good. I recommend them.

At -3°C, in ordinary shoes and thin socks, I immediately felt the cold in my toes, but with these socks and the same shoes, I didn’t feel any chill. The extra cushioning under the instep improves walking comfort. I still need to test them during longer training.

The socks are very comfortable and work well during walks. However, I expected them to retain heat better – at -7 degrees after 30-40 minutes I began to feel the cold.

This is my third pair of Wisport socks. I really like the material and the sense of comfort they provide. For very harsh frost, they require an extra layer, but otherwise they’re excellent!
