Wisport Wildcat 65 l Backpack - RAL 7013

Wisport, a company based in Wrocław, has designed a 65-liter military backpack in collaboration with the commandos of the Special Commandos Unit (previously known as the 1st Special Commando Regiment) from Lubliniec. Inspired by the well-regarded Racoon backpacks available in 45 and 65-liter sizes, this model strikes a balance between gear capacity, weight, and the user's agility. Crafted from durable 500D Cordura in RAL 7013 color, it merges ample storage with both functionality and carrying comfort.

construction made of strong Cordura

Constructed from abrasion-resistant 500D Cordura, the backpack is further fortified with bar-tacked seams. Renowned for its superior resistance to mechanical damages like abrasions and tears, this material substantially enhances the backpack's durability in challenging field conditions.

spacious main compartment, 7 pockets, adjustable lid

The 65-liter main compartment can be split into two sections: the upper section (approximately 2/3) and the lower section (about 1/3). An internal drawstring collar keeps the contents stable and the load secure. Access to the compartment is available from the top, front, and bottom thanks to a detachable base, making unpacking much easier. Located in the lower back area is a flat pocket designed for securely carrying a radio station. Above this pocket is a mounting area for a hydration system bag and a specialized opening for a tube or antenna. This opening is designed to prevent water from entering the backpack.

Additional pockets for documents and maps, along with hydration tube mounts on the shoulder straps, enhance the overall functionality of the design. The top lid is both detachable and adjustable, featuring two zippered pockets, while the front includes a velcro panel for patch personalization. Altogether, the backpack provides seven different types of pockets for organizing gear and ensuring quick access to essential items.

On the front is a long pocket with MOLLE system stitching on both sides, useful as an organizer. This backpack also features two detachable side pockets of 9 liters each, along with a rain cover stored in a Velcro-secured pocket at the bottom and helmet straps concealed in a small pouch above the bottom access zipper to the main compartment. Transport handles on the sides and metal D-rings enable attachment to ropes or vehicles, enhancing the practicality of the set.

FAS Plus Ergonomic carrying system, aluminum framework

The backpack boasts an aluminum frame along with an adjustable carrying system (FAS Plus Ergonomic), crafted for extended, comfortable use even when the backpack is heavily loaded. It guarantees stable contact with the back and offers effective relief for the spine and shoulders. The system, adjustable in two dimensions, allows for a precise fit according to the user's height and body shape. Anatomically designed shoulder straps, a broad hip belt, and a chest strap enhance weight distribution, reducing fatigue while walking. Reinforcements and framework maintain the backpack's shape even when fully loaded. A ventilated back panel enhances air circulation, minimizing perspiration. The system withstands rigorous use in challenging field conditions. The hip belt is detachable, and quick-release fastex buckles on the shoulder straps provide for an immediate backpack drop.

ITW Nexus and Duraflex buckles

The model comes with certified ITW Nexus and Duraflex buckles alongside robust Wisport zippers.

MOLLE, straps and compression straps

The MOLLE/PALS system straps are located on the front, sides, and lid, facilitating the attachment of additional gear. The combination of the strap system and compression straps allows for external equipment mounting and ensures the contents within the backpack remain stable.

Manufacturer’s warranty

The backpack comes with a 5-year warranty from the manufacturer.

This backpack is really great. You can tell that experienced military personnel were involved in its design. The pocket placement and overall layout are well planned, which makes organisation much easier. The carrying system is very comfortable and can be easily adjusted to fit you. Like every product from Wisport, the backpack is very solid and durable.

The backpack is very spacious and designed in such a way that it's easy to access items placed both at the top and deeper inside. The carrying system is comfortable, and the backpack itself is durable and works great for heavier loads. It handles tough terrain conditions well – even without an extra cover, it doesn't get soaked quickly. The well-thought-out pocket arrangement allows for sensible organisation of your belongings. Definitely worth recommending.

The bag is of very good quality and super functional, I recommend this product! However, be aware that if you choose it in olive green, there is a slight difference in colour between the photos and reality. In the photos, the bag looks to be a very discreet matte green, whereas in reality it is a much brighter green and, as a result, much less discreet than in the photos.

This is exactly the kind of backpack I needed. It has two spacious side pockets – in one I keep a tarp, ropes and tent pegs, and in the other a self-inflating mat and two half-litre bottles of water. The backpack opens from the front with a zip, which is extremely convenient. The MOLLE system allows for easy attachment of additional equipment. With the shoulder straps and hip belt adjusted properly, even a fairly heavy load (around 25 kg) isn’t a burden. As for drawbacks, in the Berghaus Tactical MMPS Crusader IV 90 + 20 l rucksack, the hip belt tightening system works the other way round, which in my opinion is a better solution.

The backpack is indeed made from high-quality materials and has a well-designed system of additional pockets and access openings. Despite its large capacity, it allows you to keep your gear organised. It's expensive, but definitely worth the price!

Out of my entire large collection, this backpack stands out the most. It is comfortable, spacious, and easy to use. Numerous compression straps allow you to fit it well. Even when fully loaded, it looks great and keeps its shape. 10/10.

This is one of the best backpacks I own. Thoughtful and solid construction. Easy access to every part of the backpack really eases organisation. The side pockets can be detached, so the backpack passes through narrow spaces more easily. Definitely worth its price - 10/10.

For a long time I was looking for a solid equivalent of the military mountain rucksack from the Ministry of Defence. I watched plenty of reviews and videos until I decided on the WildCat from Wisport. This is already my second backpack from this brand – the first was the Sparrow II 30l, which is very reliable, so the choice was easier. The backpack stands out due to its high-quality workmanship and the durability of the materials and stitches – I have often carried loads exceeding 40 kg in it. It is very functional, has plenty of pockets and a well-thought-out carrying system that can easily be adjusted to your height and the load. The only downside is the price, but the comfort and quality make up for this expense. If someone is hesitating about the purchase, they can rest assured – they will definitely be satisfied.

The backpack is extremely spacious and perfect for long trips outdoors. The workmanship and materials used are of a high standard, making the backpack virtually indestructible. The price is high, but the product is definitely worth its value. I highly recommend it.

The backpack is impressive! It's the perfect choice between large 80-litre models and smaller 40-litre ones. It's very spacious and also comes with a rain cover. Tried and tested – 35 kg of gear is no problem for it. I highly recommend it, a great product.

The backpack’s price is quite high, but it matches the quality of the product. The backpack is spacious, and the extra pockets hold a lot and can be detached if not needed, which is a practical solution. All the straps are very long, so at first you need to spend some time arranging them well so they don’t get tangled. It’s also good that the main compartment opens from the front, so you can easily reach things stored deeper without having to take everything out from the top. The only drawback is that the price depends on the backpack's colour – for this camo version, there aren’t such good discounts as there are for other patterns :(

Wonderfully designed backpack, again very good materials. From now on, this is my favourite backpack in this size. A good decision. I'm curious how the materials will perform over a longer period of use. Probably the only thing missing is a smaller version to make up a set.

Generally, the backpack is great, but I have noticed two drawbacks. Firstly, on the removable zip pocket of my example, the stitching is uneven. I’m worried that with heavier loads, it might come apart, but for now it’s fine. The second issue is that the strap attachment loops on the side pockets are different sizes – one strap slides through easily, but the other one takes a bit of effort. Other than that, the backpack is fantastic!

After a year of use, the backpack still works perfectly. There are some small scratches on the plastic parts, but it was used intensively during field exercises and training. Sturdy, durable and comfortable. Although the price is high, I think it was worth buying.
