Victorinox Serrated Rounded Tip Kitchen Knife - Black

I have two non-folding knives that I regularly use at home as my basic kitchen tools. I also own two folding models. The knives are of excellent quality and sharpness, I definitely recommend them.

Like every little Victorinox, the knife cuts excellently and copes perfectly even with very hard fruits and vegetables. Unfortunately, the folding version from Victorinox was poorly designed — there is no thumb stud, handle, or even a nail nick known from other pocket knives, so to open the knife you have to grip the blade, leaving fingerprints. The liner lock works securely, but it is placed on the opposite side, so for right-handed people it is difficult to operate one-handed.

This inconspicuous folding knife can surprise you. It's very comfortable, fits in your pocket and works perfectly in a backpack. Sharp and useful for slicing vegetables, bread and cold meats.

Since I have two regular pikuteks, I decided to buy this folding knife. Its main purpose is for travel, but I intend to use it daily in the kitchen as it is noticeably larger than the basic model. Although it is a lot more expensive, I treat this purchase as an investment for years. I am an enthusiast of the basic version of this knife, but it is quite small. The folding variant gives you more options in the kitchen, definitely worth considering when purchasing. It will be great for trips.

I’ve already bought the Victorinox Black folding kitchen knife with serrated blade and rounded tip again – the previous ones still serve me well. Great steel and construction, definitely a good purchase.

An excellent knife for various trips and outdoor activities. After very good experiences with the fixed blade version, I now bought the folding model, which is very practical when travelling, doesn't take up much space and minimises the risk of cutting yourself or damaging the blade. Perfect for slicing bread, fruit, vegetables or meat during trips. When folding, you have to be careful not to cut your fingers, because due to the design the knife does not have an additional safety lock, but I treat it more as a characteristic feature rather than a drawback.

A few months ago I bought a medium Victorinox penknife and I’m very satisfied with it. Thanks to it, I assembled a chair, took apart and threw away an old bed, and assembled a new one. I easily carried the old parts myself, and a few boards were useful for shelves. One of the blades is great for opening parcels, another for opening bottles (although I only drink alcohol-free fruit beers). Unfortunately, the ring broke off. Removing staples and small nails is not a problem. The scissors aren’t as convenient as large ones, but that's to be expected. After intensive use, the two small blades overlap a bit. Recently I mainly use the large blade, but a minor problem has appeared. This penknife is really a useful tool, although for slicing bread, something else is better.

Great kitchen knife. Easily slices even hard bread without the need for sawing. However, I must admit that before I got used to its sharpness, I cut my fingers a few times.
