Varusteleka L4 Operator Cap Baseball Cap - MultiCam
A MultiCam camouflage cap with a fit inspired by classic patrol caps, enhanced with solutions suitable for tactical operations. The model was designed for security personnel, soldiers, uniformed service officers, and people operating in the field.
Thanks to its universal design, the cap is also suitable for everyday wear, walks, trips, outdoor activities, and work that requires effective protection from the sun. Velcro panels make it possible to adapt its appearance to the nature of the tasks being carried out.
combination of 3 fabrics in rip-stop weave
The model was sewn from a material that is a combination of 3 fibres, each of which is responsible for a different performance feature of the fabric:
- 48% cotton - increases wearing comfort, provides softness in contact with the skin, and supports the material's breathability. Thanks to this, the cap is suitable for long-term use.
- 48% polyamide - increases the fabric's durability and its resistance to abrasion, tearing, and intensive use. The polyamide fibre supports the durability of the construction during field operations.
- 4% elastolefin - complements the structure of the material and affects its performance properties, such as fit, resistance to deformation, and shape retention during wear.
The fabric is made in a Rip-Stop weave, whose reinforced structure reduces the risk of small tears and mechanical damage spreading.
NIR compliance
The fabric and the cap's velcro elements were prepared to limit their visibility in near-infrared light. The material does not reflect infrared radiation as intensely as standard fabrics and velcro, which helps reduce the contrast of the cap during observation using night vision.
panel construction with peak, adjustment strap
The model features a classic 6-panel fit with a contoured peak. The crown panels are joined with durable seams that help maintain the cap's proper shape during intensive use. The construction sits well on the head and provides protection from the sun.
The peak has a stiffened construction and is finished with multi-row stitching. This solution increases its stability and helps maintain its intended profile. At the back of the cap there is an adjustable strap with a buckle. This element allows the circumference to be adjusted to the head and stabilises the cap during movement, running, and work.
3 Velcro panels for patches
The model is equipped with 3 velcro panels:
- front panel measuring 75 x 50 mm
- rear panel measuring 75 x 50 mm
- top panel measuring 30 x 20 mm
Velcro panels are used for attaching identification patches, flags, unit emblems, blood group markings, and other accessories equipped with velcro.
6 openings for effective ventilation
There are 6 ventilation openings in the upper part of the cap. They are placed in the crown panels to improve air circulation inside the cap and make it easier to release excess heat. The openings support ventilation during marching, field work, intense exertion, and use in higher temperatures.

multicam camouflage
MultiCam is a state-of-the-art camouflage pattern developed in 2002 by US company Crye Precision in cooperation with the United States Army Soldier Systems Center (Natick Labs) as part of the Objective Force Warrior program. Its goal was to create a versatile camouflage pattern that is effective in varied terrain and changing environmental conditions. The MultiCam pattern consists of seven colors, creating gradient transitions between shades of green, brown and beige. As a result, it dynamically adapts to the background, adopting shades of green in forested areas or browns and beiges in desert regions - in Central and Eastern European environments, it works particularly well in autumn and among dry vegetation. MultiCam has gained worldwide recognition and is used by numerous armed forces and special units. In 2010, the camouflage was officially adopted by the US Army as the camouflage pattern for soldiers stationed in Afghanistan, replacing the earlier Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP). The pattern is also available to civilian users, making it a popular choice among military or airsoft enthusiasts.

The velcro panel is an area with sewn-on Velcro tape that allows easy attachment of various additional items, such as patches or pockets.
Rip-Stop weave protects the fabric from abrasions and tears. It is characterized by additional threads woven in at regular intervals, forming a mesh-like pattern. It provides high strength to the fabric, increases resistance to mechanical damage, especially tears.
