A loaf of rye bread with an extended shelf life of up to 24 months. Perfect for military, preppers, sailors or hikers.
Two layers of film effectively protect the bread from moisture and the influence of other external factors. At the same time, they allow the bread to retain its unchanged flavor throughout the storage period.
The bread was prepared from rye flour with the addition of wheat flour. A single loaf weighs 700 g, and thanks to its shape it is easy to carry and store.
Bread within its Expiration date can be easily refreshed, in several different ways:
- in the microwave - after removing the outer foil, place the loaf in the oven for 3 minutes at 900W, then remove the inner foil and slice the bread,
- in the oven - after removing the outer foil, place the loaf in an oven preheated to 90-100°C for about 30 minutes, after removing the inner foil and cooling down, slice the bread,
- in a toaster oven - after removing both foils, slice the bread and place in the toaster oven,
- in water - without removing the foil, immerse the bread in 90°C water for about 30 minutes, after cooling, remove from the foil, slice after another 20 minutes,
- in a chemical flameless heater - without removing the foil, place the loaf in the heater, pour the chemical cartridge with the designated amount of water.
Thanks to its composition, the bread contains more than 30% more fiber compared to wheat bread. In addition, it has a high content of B vitamins, including niacin, and vitamin E.
Breads are repeatedly used by the Polish Armed Forces during peacekeeping operations, as well as by Civil Defense services during natural disasters.

The bread can be eaten long after its expiry date – I’ve tested it myself. The taste is fine, though nothing extraordinary. I think it’s worth having in stock for hard times considering our culinary habits. I recommend both this product and the Militaria.pl shop.

Military rye bread with a 24-month shelf life – 700g – is probably one of the most practical food products at Militaria. You can store it for a long time or eat it daily with butter or pâté.

Tasty bread, stays fresh for a long time. Great for mountain trips, mushroom picking or survival outings. I've ordered again, highly recommend.

I definitely recommend it. The price may be higher, but it's not an everyday bread. I've attached a photo of the fresh bakery product (best before 20.03.2027). A request to Militaria.pl: please pack these products in cartons – I had to return the first one, as the courier crushed it trying to fit it into too small a locker.

Aesthetically packed bread with extended durability. It can be easily refreshed in various ways. It tastes similar to military canned bread. Properly filling, full value bread. It's worth having just in case – for example during holidays when the shops are closed.

Double wrapped in foil, needs to be refreshed before consumption according to the instructions on the foil. Tasty and lasts long, could be less costly, but overall worth it. Worth recommending.
