TickLess Pet Mini Ultrasonic Tick Repellant - for animals - Black

TickLess - ultrasonic tick repellent is a small, handy device that emits ultrasound at a frequency of 40 kHz, which is inaudible to humans and pets. This disrupts the tick's ability to orientate and target its host by blocking its sensory receptors. This means that the tick cannot distinguish between its potential victim and its surroundings.

The device is perfect for trips to the forest, spending time on the allotment, fishing, camping, bushcraft trips and all other activities in nature where you are exposed to tick bites.

Ticks use the Haller organ on the foot of the first leg to identify potential prey. The ultrasound emitted by the device effectively blocks the tick's reception of stimuli from this sensory organ. The range is about 2.5 metres, which ensures effective protection. The TickLess Pet Mini device should be attached to the animal's collar to ensure the free propagation of ultrasonic waves.

Ticks carry diseases that are dangerous to humans, such as Lyme disease and tick-borne encephalitis. By using TickLess ultrasonic tick protection, you minimise the risk of being bitten and thus of being infected with a serious disease.

The device is completely environmentally friendly, does not release any chemicals and is convenient to use. Before using it for the first time, you need to charge the battery (Li-Ion, micro USB) and then press and hold the button. Four flashes of the LED indicate that TickLess is switched on and working. When the LED flashes red, the battery level is below 30%. The device can be switched off by pressing the button three times in quick succession, which is indicated by the LED flashing twice. The device can be used for 7-14 days with a fully charged battery.

The device is equipped with a night localisation function (fast flashing LED) that can be switched on/off by holding down the button for a longer period of time.

TickLess is harmless to pregnant women, small children, people with pacemakers, the elderly and animals, making it an excellent alternative to chemical repellents, which can cause allergic reactions in some cases.

It is made of durable plastic and is moisture-resistant according to IP13 standard, but direct contact with water should be avoided.
