TickLess – ultrasonic tick protection is a compact, portable device that generates ultrasonic waves at a frequency of 40 kHz, inaudible to humans and domestic animals.
Ticks are carriers of dangerous diseases such as Lyme disease or tick-borne encephalitis. Using the TickLess device helps reduce the risk of bites and thus the risk of infection.

Ticks use the Haller's organ located on the first pair of legs to locate a host. The ultrasonic waves at 40 kHz emitted by the device disrupt the reception of stimuli by this organ. The effective range is approximately 1.5 meters.
The beige casing is made of durable plastic resistant to damage. The device meets the IP13 standard, which means protection against solid objects larger than 50 mm and resistance to water spray at a 60-degree angle.
Device operation
The device is activated by removing the safety tab, which turns it on. It operates continuously for at least 6 months, until the battery is fully discharged. It is mounted using a keychain ring.
