Ticks are dangerous arachnids whose bites can lead to the infection of dangerous diseases. Children are particularly vulnerable to the bites of these insects, who during the summer play in parks or meadows in tall grasses, where ticks are most abundant. For this reason, it is so important to use various tick repellents for children.

One popular choice is a tick spray for children. When choosing a tick spray, make sure it contains a low concentration of the active ingredient (DEET, icariidin, IR3535), as high concentrations can cause allergic reactions on delicate children's skin. Also, be sure to read the information on the product's duration of action. Tick spray for children should be effective and provide long-lasting protection. Typically, this type of preparation protects for several hours, and the product is applied by spraying exposed skin areas (some sprays can even be used on the face, but always avoid the area around the eyes and mouth). For longer stays outdoors, it is good practice to reapply the repellent.

Many tick repellents for children also provide protection against other insects, for example, mosquitoes and midges. In MILITARY.EU you will find both preparations for ticks, as well as multifunctional agents that provide comprehensive protection against other troublesome insects. It is also worth remembering additional forms of protection for children against ticks - make sure to wear appropriate clothing with long sleeves and legs, and avoid tall grass.
