TickLess – ultrasonic tick protection is a compact, portable device that generates ultrasonic waves at a frequency of 40 kHz, inaudible to humans and domestic animals.

It is useful during forest trips, time at the allotment, fishing, camping, bushcraft activities, and all kinds of outdoor activities where there is a risk of tick contact.

Ticks are carriers of dangerous diseases such as Lyme disease or tick-borne encephalitis. Using the TickLess device helps reduce the risk of bites and thus the risk of infection.

Ticks use the Haller's organ located on the first pair of legs to locate a host. The ultrasonic waves at 40 kHz emitted by the device disrupt the reception of stimuli by this organ. The effective range is approximately 2.5 meters.

The casing in Colar color is made of durable plastic resistant to damage. The device meets the IP13 standard, which means protection against solid objects larger than 50 mm and resistance to water spray at a 60-degree angle.

Before use, charge the built-in battery (Li-Ion, micro USB), then activate the device by holding the button. Four LED flashes confirm activation. When the battery level drops below 30%, a red light will appear. To turn off TickLess Active, press the button three times quickly – two LED flashes confirm deactivation.

The device should be attached to a shoelace to allow ultrasonic waves to spread effectively. One full charge provides operation for 7 to 14 days. The night location mode (rapid LED flashing) can be enabled or disabled by holding the button for a few seconds.

The model does not harm the environment, emits no chemicals, and is designed for safe use. It poses no risk to pregnant women, children, the elderly, or pacemaker users, making it a safe alternative to chemical repellents that may cause allergic reactions in some cases.
