Well made, quite durable mess tin. Newly bought, it has a medium sheet thickness, does not deform, and the handle is stable. Its shape means it does not take up much space. The price is appropriate for the quality, it's worth buying – it will surely last a long time.

This mess tin is a classic US Army model, known as the 'disc', whose design hasn't changed since World War II. Thanks to its shape, it takes up less space than traditional round pots. It consists of a soup compartment (which can also be used as a frying pan) and a plate for the second course. The plate can be placed on the handle and the whole set can be comfortably carried in one hand. The mess tin is practical and works great on campsites. I highly recommend it!
