Texar MA-1 Flyers Jacket - Black

Warm, lightweight and comfortable jacket in the familiar "flejers" cut. The sturdy nylon outer layer and polyester lining ensure thermal comfort even in adverse weather conditions.

The jacket has as many as five pockets. Two inside, two outside - arranged on the sides of the jacket and closed with a snap, and one on the left shoulder, where you can store pens, keys or other small items.

The Flyers jacket can also be worn reversed to the inner orange side. This distinctive design is related to the original purpose of MA-1 jackets for USAF pilots. In the event of a malfunction or shoot-down, they had a better chance of being rescued by search services. Nowadays, this ingenious solution can work well, for example, when moving along the side of an unlit road outside a built-up area.

Maintaining a comfortable temperature is ensured by welts sewn on the sleeves and at hip height. A special strip under the zipper prevents the penetration of moisture.
