Texar Grom ECWCS Jacket - Black

Jacket in black, effectively protecting against wind and precipitation. It features a membrane with waterproofing of 10,000 mm and breathability of 7500 g/m2/24 h, providing protection from rain and aiding in the removal of excess moisture during physical exertion. The material reduces water penetration inside, increasing comfort in demanding terrain conditions.

Velcro

Materials resistant to damage and well-thought-out details

Model designed for intensive use in the field, made of durable nylon. Reinforcements on the elbows enhance resistance to abrasions and mechanical damage, which is important when in contact with the ground or equipment.

High stand-up collar protects the neck from wind and precipitation, reducing heat loss in a critical area. Cuff adjustment with a hook-and-loop tab allows for a perfect fit of the sleeves to the wrists, reducing the penetration of cold air into the jacket and allowing comfortable use with gloves.

Construction adapted for wearing with a fleece jacket

The jacket construction is suitable for wearing with the Texar Grom fleece, allowing for the creation of a set tailored to temperature and physical activity. The jacket functions as an outer layer, protecting against atmospheric conditions, while the fleece provides thermal insulation.

In warmer conditions, the jacket can be used on its own, while in lower temperatures, you can increase thermal protection by adding an additional insulating layer.

Pockets for essential accessories

Equipped with a well-thought-out pocket arrangement facilitating the storage of essential items. 2 external pockets with snap fasteners offer quick access to stored items while securing them from falling out.

At the main zip, there are 2 internal pockets with zips. This solution enhances the security of storing documents, phones, or other valuable items.

Two-way zip with strip, velcro panels

Jacket equipped with a two-way main zip, allowing for ventilation regulation and easy access to the equipment worn underneath. Flap covering the zip, fastened with snaps, provides additional wind protection and limits heat loss. Located on the chest and left shoulder, velcro panels allow for patch attachment.

Detachable hood with adjustment system

Model equipped with a hood with an adjustment system via a drawstring, allowing precise fit to the head and enhancing stability in windy conditions. The design also allows for the full detachment of the hood using a zip.

    If you care about a decent, waterproof, and breathable jacket for expeditions, in my opinion this is the best choice I have had. The price is reasonable, and it is a Polish product. The shop service is at a very high level. I was positively surprised by the delivery – I was expecting the package on Monday, but I received it already on Saturday at InPost :).
