Texar ECWCS Conger Jacket - Black

Vapour-permeable and waterproof jacket with hood made of three-layer Storm-Tex System material. The jacket is breathable, which prevents excessive sweating.

The ventilation openings under the arms, which are closed with waterproof zips, enable the wearer to regulate the temperature inside the jacket.

The jacket has five zipped pockets:
- two classic hip pockets,
- one pocket on each shoulder,
- one inner pocket at chest level.

The cuffs are adjustable with a Velcro-fastened patch, allowing the size to be adjusted depending on the thickness of the wrist and whether the wearer is also wearing gloves or a watch, for example. The jacket is also adjustable at the waist.

The attachable zipped deep hood is spacious enough to be worn over a hat. The drawstrings make it possible to increase the hood's tightness even in very adverse weather conditions.

4 Velcro panels - one on each sleeve and two on the chest - allow you to attach any patches or emblems, such as the national flag, unit emblem or so-called Morale Patches, so you can give the jacket a personal touch.

The main zip is two-way, which increases the user's freedom of access to the trouser pockets. In addition, the zip is protected by a strip fastened with snaps, which ensures better temperature retention under the jacket and prevents strong winds from penetrating the zip. The strip also prevents the zip from blocking due to the accumulation of dirt, dust, sand and leaves, or even freezing water or snow clumping on it.
