Terra Nova Laser Lite 2 2-Person Tent

Ultralight two-person tent designed to reduce the weight of your equipment while maintaining durability and effective protection against adverse weather conditions. The weight of 1240 g allows for easy transport and is ideal for long trips and outdoor activities where minimising your load is essential.

The design is based on proven solutions from expedition tents and durable materials such as a flysheet made from TriPlex fabric with a Rip-Stop weave. The construction ensures intuitive use, easy pitching and excellent interior organisation.

durable materials

The flysheet utilises TriPlex fabric with Rip-Stop, which combines robust recycled nylon and polyester fibres. Solution-dyed fibres enhance protection against UV radiation. The material features waterproofing rated at 3000 mm water column, providing reliable defence against rain and wind.

The groundsheet is made from 20D fabric with reinforcing Rip-Stop weave, delivering waterproofing at 5000 mm water column. A double-sided silicone coating increases resistance to abrasion, tearing and improves the sealing of the groundsheet.

Internal walls made from 10D Rip-Stop nylon strike a balance between low weight and good durability. The Rip-Stop weave helps reduce the spread of mechanical damage such as abrasions or small tears, ensuring the longevity of the material during intensive outdoor use.

Airst. Corner technology

The groundsheet incorporates Airst. Corner technology, additionally reinforcing the corners that experience the highest stress during use. Increased material durability at key points and reduced risk of damage guarantee reliability even during prolonged use.

The corner construction features LineLock locks, improving the floor’s sealing and resistance to moisture even in the toughest field conditions.

Stable construction and quick pitching

The tent frame uses DAC poles. This approach achieves high strength at low weight, which is especially important for equipment designed for advanced outdoor activities.

The poles are made from an aluminium alloy with excellent resistance to deformation and mechanical impacts. Tapered sections effectively reduce the overall weight of the tent without compromising structural stability.

Production uses eco-friendly anodising of the poles, which reduces water consumption and eliminates harmful substances. The result is a durable, lightweight frame suitable for intensive outdoor conditions.

Sleeping area with 2 entrances and a practical vestibule

The sleeping area measures 220 x 125 x 90 cm, with the design making the most of available space while keeping weight low. The interior layout allows for comfortable rest and convenient storage of essential gear. The optimum usable height makes movement and organisation inside the tent easier.

This model features two entrances and a single vestibule providing extra space for gear and helping organise your equipment. This layout separates the sleeping space from the storage area, which makes a difference while camping. You can store kit on both sides of the tent for better organisation.

ventilation system

This model includes multiple ventilation zones to aid airflow and prevent water vapour condensation. The adjustable FlexiPorch system allows you to adapt the size of the vestibule to conditions and personal needs, enabling you to increase space or improve ventilation.

The tent can be pitched using standard trekking poles, reducing the amount of kit you need to carry and making the setup simpler. Not needing extra frame parts is crucial when keeping your equipment weight down.

Reflective guylines and convenient transport

Reflective guylines made from Dyneema material improve visibility after dark, reducing the risk of tripping. The low weight of 1240 g and compact packed size (30 x 14 x 14 cm) mean the tent is easy to carry in your rucksack. The design is optimised for carrying comfort.

Rip-Stop feature
Rip-Stop

Rip-Stop weave protects the fabric from abrasions and tears. It is characterized by additional threads woven in at regular intervals, forming a mesh-like pattern. It provides high strength to the fabric, increases resistance to mechanical damage, especially tears.

FlexiPorch feature
FlexiPorch
FlexiPorch is an innovative solution that increases the usable space of a tent through a flexible vestibule system. It allows the entry area to be easily expanded, offering extra space for luggage, gear, or cooking during rain. The design has been developed to maintain full stability and protection against adverse weather conditions. Thanks to its modular approach, FlexiPorch can be adapted to the user's current needs or the prevailing weather. This solution significantly improves comfort in smaller tents, where every centimeter of space matters.
Dyneema feature
Dyneema
Dyneema is recognized as the strongest fiber in the world and has revolutionized the outdoor equipment market. This material is characterized by extreme tensile strength and exceptional resistance to abrasion and cuts. Its main advantage in outdoor use is its ultralight weight, which allows the total weight of expedition gear to be significantly reduced. Fabrics based on Dyneema fibers are also completely waterproof, which is a key advantage in difficult weather conditions.
TriPlex feature
TriPlex
TriPlex is a lightweight, three-layer composite fabric whose layers are permanently bonded in a lamination process. The material is characterized by very high resistance to tears, punctures, and water, while also showing low susceptibility to stretching. As a result, it helps maintain a stable structural shape in wet and demanding terrain conditions, increasing the durability of expedition gear.
AiroCorner feature
AiroCorner
AiroCorner is a tent corner design without seams in places particularly exposed to leaks and overloads. Specially reinforced points where the poles meet the floor distribute stress evenly, reducing wear on the fabric and pole tips, and increasing structural stability during strong wind. The system additionally reinforces the connection between the floor and the flysheet and makes correct tent pitching easier.
LineLock feature
LineLock
The LineLock system is an advanced solution for quick and precise adjustment of tent guyline tension. The mechanism is based on an easy-to-use cord lock that eliminates the need to tie complicated knots. With this solution, the user can correct cord tension in a fraction of a second, which is essential for maintaining tent stability in changing weather conditions. LineLock guarantees a secure hold on the cord under load, preventing it from loosening during the night. The whole system is resistant to mechanical factors and moisture, ensuring reliable operation over a long period of time.
DAC feature
DAC
DAC is a global leader in the production of high-strength aluminum poles, valued for innovation in materials engineering. The tubes from this manufacturer are made in a unique process that makes it possible to achieve an excellent stiffness-to-weight ratio. The material shows exceptional resistance to material fatigue and permanent deformation, which makes it the foundation of the most renowned expedition tents. DAC poles are lighter than traditional solutions, while at the same time providing significantly higher structural durability. Precise connections between individual sections guarantee easy setup and smooth folding even in difficult conditions.
