Terra Nova Laser Lite 2 2-Person Tent

Ultralight two-person tent designed to minimize your gear weight while maintaining durability and effective protection against harsh weather conditions. The weight of 1240 g allows for easy transport and use on extended trips and outdoor activities where reducing pack size is essential.

The design incorporates proven features from expedition tents and durable materials such as a rainfly made from TriPlex fabric with Rip-Stop weave. The construction provides intuitive operation, easy setup, and excellent interior organization.

durable materials

The flysheet uses TriPlex fabric with Rip-Stop, which combines tough recycled nylon and polyester fibers. Solution-dyed fibers enhance UV protection. The material is waterproof up to 3000 mm water column, providing reliable defense against rain and wind.

The floor is made from 20D fabric with a reinforced Rip-Stop weave, offering a waterproof rating of 5000 mm water column. A double-sided silicone coating improves abrasion resistance, tear strength, and floor waterproofing.

The inner walls are constructed from 10D Rip-Stop nylon, balancing low weight and good durability. The Rip-Stop weave helps prevent the spread of abrasion or puncture damage, increasing the longevity of the material even with intensive field use.

Airst. Corner technology

The floor features Airst. Corner technology to further reinforce the corners, which endure the most stress during use. Enhanced material durability in these key areas and reduced risk of damage ensure the tent remains reliable even after prolonged use.

The corners are equipped with LineLock locks, improving the floor's seal and boosting moisture resistance even in the toughest conditions.

Stable structure and fast setup

The tent frame is based on DAC poles, which deliver exceptional strength at a minimal weight—a crucial feature in gear built for advanced outdoor use.

The poles are made from a high-strength aluminum alloy that resists deformation and impacts. Tapered sections effectively reduce the overall tent weight without compromising stability.

An eco-friendly anodization process is used for the poles, minimizing water usage and eliminating harmful chemicals. The result is a durable, lightweight frame suited for demanding use.

The inner tent features 2 doors and a practical vestibule

The sleeping area measures 220 x 125 x 90 cm, maximizing usable space while keeping weight low. The interior layout is designed for comfortable rest and efficient storage of essential gear. The generous headroom makes it easy to move around and organize gear inside the tent.

This model includes two entrances and a single vestibule, providing extra space for gear and streamlining packing organization. This layout separates the sleeping compartment from the storage area, which is especially helpful when camping. There's gear storage on both sides of the tent for better organization.

ventilation system

The tent features multiple ventilation zones to improve airflow and minimize condensation. The adjustable FlexiPorch system lets you tailor the vestibule's size to the conditions and your needs, enabling either more space or improved ventilation.

Setup is possible using standard trekking poles, which reduces the amount of gear you need to bring and makes the tent system more compact. Not needing extra structural components is key when your overall load needs to stay light.

Reflective guylines and easy transport

Reflective Dyneema guylines make the tent visible after dark and help prevent tripping. The light weight of 1240 g and compact packed size (30 x 14 x 14 cm) make it easy to carry the tent in your backpack. The design is optimized for comfortable transport.

Rip-Stop feature
Rip-Stop

Rip-Stop weave protects the fabric from abrasions and tears. It is characterized by additional threads woven in at regular intervals, forming a mesh-like pattern. It provides high strength to the fabric, increases resistance to mechanical damage, especially tears.

FlexiPorch feature
FlexiPorch
FlexiPorch is an innovative solution that increases the usable space of a tent through a flexible vestibule system. It allows the entry area to be easily expanded, offering extra space for luggage, gear, or cooking during rain. The design has been developed to maintain full stability and protection against adverse weather conditions. Thanks to its modular approach, FlexiPorch can be adapted to the user's current needs or the prevailing weather. This solution significantly improves comfort in smaller tents, where every centimeter of space matters.
Dyneema feature
Dyneema
Dyneema is recognized as the strongest fiber in the world and has revolutionized the outdoor equipment market. This material is characterized by extreme tensile strength and exceptional resistance to abrasion and cuts. Its main advantage in outdoor use is its ultralight weight, which allows the total weight of expedition gear to be significantly reduced. Fabrics based on Dyneema fibers are also completely waterproof, which is a key advantage in difficult weather conditions.
TriPlex feature
TriPlex
TriPlex is a lightweight, three-layer composite fabric whose layers are permanently bonded in a lamination process. The material is characterized by very high resistance to tears, punctures, and water, while also showing low susceptibility to stretching. As a result, it helps maintain a stable structural shape in wet and demanding terrain conditions, increasing the durability of expedition gear.
AiroCorner feature
AiroCorner
AiroCorner is a tent corner design without seams in places particularly exposed to leaks and overloads. Specially reinforced points where the poles meet the floor distribute stress evenly, reducing wear on the fabric and pole tips, and increasing structural stability during strong wind. The system additionally reinforces the connection between the floor and the flysheet and makes correct tent pitching easier.
LineLock feature
LineLock
The LineLock system is an advanced solution for quick and precise adjustment of tent guyline tension. The mechanism is based on an easy-to-use cord lock that eliminates the need to tie complicated knots. With this solution, the user can correct cord tension in a fraction of a second, which is essential for maintaining tent stability in changing weather conditions. LineLock guarantees a secure hold on the cord under load, preventing it from loosening during the night. The whole system is resistant to mechanical factors and moisture, ensuring reliable operation over a long period of time.
DAC feature
DAC
DAC is a global leader in the production of high-strength aluminum poles, valued for innovation in materials engineering. The tubes from this manufacturer are made in a unique process that makes it possible to achieve an excellent stiffness-to-weight ratio. The material shows exceptional resistance to material fatigue and permanent deformation, which makes it the foundation of the most renowned expedition tents. DAC poles are lighter than traditional solutions, while at the same time providing significantly higher structural durability. Precise connections between individual sections guarantee easy setup and smooth folding even in difficult conditions.
