Terra Nova Laser Lite 1 1-Person Tent

Ultralight one-person tent designed to minimise pack weight while maintaining durability and effective protection against adverse weather conditions. Weighing only 990 g, this shelter is exceptionally easy to carry, making it perfect for multi-day hikes.

The design draws on proven expedition tent solutions, combining durable materials with a flysheet made of robust TriPlex Rip-Stop fabric. The concept ensures easy handling, rapid pitching and excellent internal organisation.

The flysheet is made from TriPlex Rip-Stop material, using nylon and recycled polyester fibres for outstanding tear resistance and shape retention. The use of solution-dyed yarns improves UV resistance. The fabric offers a waterproof rating of 3000 mm/m2, providing reliable protection from rain and wind.

The groundsheet is made from 20D silicone Rip-Stop, giving it a waterproof rating of 5000 mm/m2 as well as high abrasion resistance for contact with rough surfaces. The inner walls, constructed from 10D Rip-Stop nylon, combine low weight with robust protection against mechanical damage.

The fabrics are finished with a PFC-free hydrophobic polyurethane coating. The Rip-Stop structure minimises the risk of further spread from abrasions or small tears, resulting in greater long-term durability in the field.

The tent floor uses Airst. Corner reinforcement on the corners, the areas most exposed to stress and wear. Reinforced strength at these essential points reduces the risk of damage even during intensive use.

The structure’s corners are fitted with LineLock tensioners, which improve floor sealing and help maintain water resistance and protection in difficult conditions.

The tent features a DAC pole frame, providing an ideal balance of strength with low weight—key attributes for demanding outdoor gear.

The poles are made from aluminium alloy, delivering high resistance to deformation and mechanical damage. The tapered sections further reduce the overall weight while maintaining maximum stability.

The manufacturing process includes eco-friendly anodising, which reduces water usage and eliminates hazardous chemicals. This produces a light, long-lasting pole frame built for repeated, heavy use.

The sleeping compartment, measuring 226 x 98 x 92 cm, has been designed to maximise usable space while keeping weight to a minimum. The layout allows you to store essential kit within easy reach and offers ample headroom for changing positions and organising your belongings.

The tent features one entrance and a single vestibule for storing extra gear and keeping your pack organised. The clear separation between sleeping and gear spaces proves invaluable when camping in challenging terrain.

This model includes numerous ventilation points to enhance airflow and minimise condensation inside the tent. The adjustable FlexiPorch system allows you to tailor the vestibule size as needed, expanding the living area or maximising ventilation.

Reflective Dyneema guy lines improve night-time visibility and help prevent trips and falls. The tent’s extremely low weight of just 990 g and compact packed size (30 x 12 x 12 cm) make it easy to carry in a rucksack. The design is optimised for maximum portability and convenience on extended treks.
