Binoculars with a 42mm objective lens and a fixed magnification of 8x. Allows observation in a variety of light conditions. The sealed nitrogen-filled construction guarantees protection against harmful effects of water, moisture and dust and provides water resistance up to 3 metres. The SkyHawk 4.0 model can be used in temperatures from -20 °C to +70 °C.
The Roof-type prism system used in the binoculars provides a wider field of view. The multi-coated anti-reflective coating minimises reflections from the lens surfaces. High Contrast Optics lenses provide sharp, high-contrast images with accurate colour reproduction and high image quality across the entire field of view from 2 metres away.
The body of the binoculars is made of durable Makrolon polycarbonate. The non-slip NBR Longlife rubber coating is highly resistant to the damaging effects of oils, fuels, acids, fats and weather conditions and cushions accidental impacts and falls from low heights. The contoured finger indentations ensure a stable grip even when wearing gloves. Ergonomic twist-up eyecups made of soft silicone provide high comfort and protection from sun and wind.
The enlarged Fast Close Focus knob located in the central part of the binoculars allows quick focusing. In addition, the Distance Control System allows the focus to be pre-adjusted to the distance of the object under observation. The binoculars are equipped with dioptric correction in the range of ±4. Adjustable eyepiece spacing from 56 to 74 mm allows a better fit for the user.
