Snugpak Special Forces 2 sleeping bag - Olive

A compact mummy-type sleeping bag made of Snugpack's premium, proprietary materials, such as Paratex Light, Paratex Steelplate and Softie Premier. It provides thermal comfort down to -7 degrees C for women (T-comfort) and -1 degrees C for men (T-limit).

The outer layer of the sleeping bag is made of Paratex Steelplate, which provides high breathability (12 l/m2/24h), good wind protection and high moisture resistance thanks to the Durable Water Repellent (DWR) impregnation.

The inner layer of the sleeping bag is made of Paratex Light fabric, which is highly breathable and windproof. The design of the material prevents the collection of moisture inside the sleeping bag, which is formed by condensation of heat generated by the body at low ambient temperatures.

Inside the sleeping bag, in the foot area, there is a reinforced piece of material, which, in addition to improving insulating properties, makes it possible to sleep in shoes without worrying about damaging the sleeping bag. Two small loops are also placed there, which allow you to easily hang the sleeping bag and air it out.

The sleeping bag's filling is Softie Premier material, which provides good heat retention even in humid environments, and its soft texture makes the sleeping bag pleasant to the touch. The special proprietary fiber construction of the fill allows the sleeping bag to be hand-washed and machine-washed.

An additional protection against heat loss, is the classic for mummy type sleeping bags welt around the head.

The sleeping bag has been equipped with a special hem around the two-way zipper, which eliminates the possibility of cutting the material when opening or closing the sleeping bag.

A compression sack is included to facilitate the efficient carrying of the sleeping bag.

The most important indicators, with which the limits and temperature ranges of sleeping bags are described, as a rule, are marked with values:
- T-max - the maximum temperature at which an average-built man is able to sleep through the night without sweating excessively or waking up because of the heat,
- T-comfort - the lowest temperature at which the average woman can sleep comfortably through the night, 
- T-limit - the lowest temperature at which the average man can sleep through the night.
