Snugpak Special Forces 2 sleeping bag - Olive
A compact and lightweight sleeping bag in a green colour, with a mummy-style design that provides comfortable body positioning during sleep. Created using Snugpack's proprietary materials such as Paratex Steelplate, Paratex Light, and Softie Premier.
Temperatures and conditions of use
T-comfort: -7 deg. C - the lowest temperature at which a woman can comfortably sleep through the night,
T-limit: -12 deg. C - the minimum temperature allowing a man to sleep without discomfort.
Paratex Steelplate and Paratex Light material, DWR coating
The external layer of the sleeping bag made of Paratex Steelplate is characterised by high breathability (12 l/m2/24h), effective wind protection, and high moisture resistance due to DWR impregnation (Durable Water Repellent).
The inner part of the sleeping bag is made from Paratex Light material, known for its high breathability and windproof properties. The special material construction prevents moisture build-up inside the sleeping bag, resulting from body heat condensation in low ambient temperatures.
Inside the sleeping bag, in the foot area, there is a reinforced section of material that enhances insulation properties and allows sleeping in footwear without fear of damaging the sleeping bag. There are also two small loops for easy hanging and airing of the sleeping bag.
Softie Premier filling
Softie Premier, used as the sleeping bag filling, retains heat even in damp environments and its soft structure makes the sleeping bag pleasant to the touch. The special fibre construction allows for both hand and machine washing when needed.
Two-way zipper, drawstring around the head
A central two-way zipper from the renowned company YKK has been used. Inside there is a protective strip that prevents the material from being caught in the zipper and limits heat loss. Additional thermal protection is provided by the characteristic drawstring around the head typical of mummy sleeping bags.
Set elements
A practical compression sack with buckles is included with the sleeping bag, protecting it during transport and safeguarding against dirt and damage.

DWR
DWR (Durable Water Repellency) is a durable waterproofing treatment that increases the surface tension of water and creates a hydrophobic coating on materials. It protects the material from rapid soaking, improves drying, provides stain resistance and increases breathability.
YKK zippers
YKK zippers are high-quality zippers commonly used in clothing and accessories, manufactured by the Japanese YKK Corporation - one of the world's largest zipper manufacturers.
Anti Snag
Anti Snag is a technology used in sleeping bags to prevent the zipper from snagging. Thanks to the use of a special anti-snag tape along the zipper and an external protective strip, the risk of snagging the fabric when zipping or unzipping the sleeping bag is minimized. Such a solution not only makes it easier to operate the zipper, but also increases the durability of the product, protecting the fabric from mechanical damage.
Paratex Light
