The sleeping bag is very warm, pleasant to the touch and quite big when folded, so keep that in mind when packing. Overall, I recommend it – it will even do well on cool nights.
Snugpak Sleeper Extreme Black - left
Compact and warm mummy-style sleeping bag in Black color, made from Snugpak's innovative materials such as Aqualight, Supersoft, and Isofibre.
Temperature ratings and usage conditions
The Sleeper Extreme sleeping bag's temperature ratings are determined according to the EN 13537 standard:
T-comfort: -7 deg C - the lowest temperature at which a woman can comfortably sleep through the night,
T-limit: -12 deg C - the minimum temperature at which a man can sleep through the night without discomfort.
Aqualight and Supersoft materials
The outer layer is made of 190T polyester Aqualight, which has hydrophobic properties. This ensures that even in morning humidity, water droplets remain on the surface instead of penetrating the fabric. The interior of the sleeping bag is lined with Supersoft, a material known for its durable weave, soft texture, and high breathability.
Isofibre filling
The synthetic insulation Isofibre effectively retains heat even in humid environments, ensuring comfort. Its soft texture makes the sleeping bag pleasant to the touch. An additional insulation strip in the shoulder area minimizes heat loss. The special fiber construction allows for both hand and machine washing, making maintenance easy.
At the foot section, two hanging loops allow for convenient airing and storage.
Integrated hood for warmth
The built-in hood effectively reduces heat loss by covering the head during sleep. Its ergonomic shape enhances protection against cold, wind, and moisture.
Two-way zipper on the left side
The Sleeper Extreme model features a two-way zipper on the left side, making it easy to enter and exit. An additional insulation strip prevents cold air from seeping in and also protects the fabric from accidental snagging while in use.
Convenient transport and storage
Compact dimensions when packed make transportation and storage easy. When folded, it measures 30 x 26 cm and weighs 2100 g, allowing for effortless carrying without excessive load on your gear.
Set contents
The set includes a compression sack, which facilitates transport and storage of the sleeping bag.

Durable and very warm sleeping bag, which is a good compromise between an affordable, more attractive price than down models and a range of temperatures. When packed in the compression sack, it is quite large, but after proper stuffing, it easily fit at the bottom of an 80-litre military backpack (it should also fit a mountain infantry backpack).
-
I tested it in sub-zero temperatures and as someone who often feels cold, I can recommend it – if you put on good socks, regular trousers and thermal underwear with a sweatshirt, you can sleep very comfortably. The sleeping bag takes up a lot of space, even after compression, so you either have to attach it outside or have a very large backpack.

Best price-to-insulation ratio! The entire Sleeper line from Snugpak are really great products, differing in temperature range and, naturally, weight. The sleeping bag is very comfortable, mummy-shaped, though even after compression it's still quite large and relatively heavy, but it does its job excellently. Thanks to the favourable price, the weight and size stop being a disadvantage. I believe you won't find anything better in this price range.
-
I haven't tried it in temperatures below zero yet, but in temperatures below 10 degrees it worked great – I didn't get cold and felt like I was in bed under a duvet. The sleeping bag is heavier, but it is a reasonable compromise between weight, temperature range, and price.
-
As usual, very fast delivery, the sleeping bag meets all the requirements – it is a bit larger than summer models due to its winter purpose, but it heats excellently, and the compression straps allow you to reduce its size.
-
The sleeping bag is made from high-quality material, resistant to tears, and is perfect for camping in tough conditions – it provides a comfortable sleep.
-
Durable, very warm, and with my height of 180 cm, there's still plenty of space left, so even tall people will fit comfortably. The only comment concerns the compression strap fasteners – they don't seem very sturdy, but so far they've worked well.

Snugpak Sleeper Extreme Black is a three-season tourist sleeping bag of high quality, guaranteeing warmth and comfort even in very tough conditions. Made of solid materials and additionally insulated. An excellent choice for active people who expect reliable equipment in the field.
-
I'm pleasantly surprised by the quality and comfort of this sleeping bag – it definitely surpasses military models. For a person 185 cm tall and 96 kg, there is plenty of room. The interior is pleasant to the touch. At this price, it's hard to find a better option, I recommend it.
-
Excellent winter sleeping bag – it's very warm and thick, and also carefully made from high-quality materials. I recommend it for winter nights in the open air.
-
Very high-quality workmanship. People with a broad chest may feel slight discomfort because of the limited space to change sleeping positions.
-
The sleeping bag seems solid, but I haven't had the chance to test it in freezing conditions yet.
