Practical thanks to its pen-like form, which makes it more convenient to finish sharpening a tool – something that is crucial. You can roughly shape the blade on a grinder, but without proper finishing, the edge will not work smoothly. It looks more expensive than it really is. It is a pity that the plate does not have at least two levels of grit, but nevertheless, it does an excellent job of sharpening even very soft kitchen knives or scissors – no file or sandpaper can match it, and sharpening on a stone is not as comfortable.
