Practical thanks to its pen-like shape, which makes it more convenient to finish sharpening a tool, which is crucial. You can initially shape it on a grinder, but without proper finishing, the blade won’t work smoothly. It looks like a more expensive product than it actually is. It’s a pity the plate doesn’t have at least two grit levels, but nevertheless, it handles sharpening even very soft kitchen knives or scissors perfectly—no file or sandpaper can match it, and sharpening on a stone isn’t as comfortable.
