Silva Freelight Head Torch 2000 Lumens

Head torch with a durable housing, a high-performance rechargeable battery and a compact design, generating a light output of up to 2000 lumens and providing a beam distance of up to 180 metres. The technologies used improve performance and user comfort. The modular design allows the lamp and battery to be quickly detached from the headband, making it possible to configure the set according to current use.

The model uses Free Airflow technology, based on a durable plastic housing and an optimised heat sink. This solution is responsible for proper ventilation and cooling of the torch during various activities, and also protects against overheating, maintaining maximum light output regardless of conditions. The housing is made in accordance with the IP55 standard, which means full protection against dust ingress and resistance to water jets from any direction. The movable head allows smooth adjustment of the beam angle vertically, precisely illuminating the work area. The modular mounting system enables quick release of the light module and mounting it on the headband or directly on a helmet using mounting adapters.

Light emission is provided by two high-performance LEDs placed in the lens-based Silva Intelligent Light optical system, which combines focused long-range light with wide close-range illumination at the same time. Silva Flow Light technology automatically changes beam geometry as the head angle changes - pointing the lamp downward widens the beam at short range, while raising it upward increases viewing distance.

The torch offers 3 lighting modes, allowing the light intensity to be adjusted to current conditions.

Work mode / Output / Runtime / Range:

Max: 2000 lumens / 1.5-3 h / 180 m
Medium: 800 lumens / 3 h 45 min-7.5 h / 115 m
Min: 80 lumens / up to 35 h / 45 m

The torch is operated using a large ergonomic button located on the side of the head housing. The distinct switch profile allows intuitive switching between three brightness levels without removing work or tactical gloves.

The head torch is powered by an external 36 Wh lithium-ion rechargeable battery, mounted at the back of the headband or carried separately using an extension cable. Charging takes place via the built-in USB-C port and takes about 6 hours, while the current energy level is shown by a precise LED indicator. On the rear part of the power module there is an additional red rear position light, which increases visibility and safety after dark.

The wide elastic headband is equipped with Free technology, routing the power cables directly inside the textile material, so the cables do not get tangled around the head. The inner side is complemented by silicone finishes stabilising the whole unit on the head, cap or helmet, and the included upper strap (top band) distributes the weight of the torch evenly during dynamic movement. A set of modular snap-in sockets allows quick mounting of the light unit at the front and the battery pack at the back of the head.
