Savotta Backpack Cover 120 l - Green

Green rain cover designed for backpacks with a capacity of approximately 120 litres, such as the Jaakari XL model by Savotta, with additional pouches, side pockets, or modules. Suitable for trekking expeditions, tactical operations, and heavy-duty use in the field. Effectively protects the backpack and its contents from rain, snow, mud, and dirt, enhancing the safety of transported equipment.

Durable material with protective coating

The cover is made of 100% 70D polyamide with a Rip-Stop weave, which reduces the risk of further tearing in case of damage. The external PU coating provides a high degree of water resistance, protecting the backpack's contents despite heavy rainfall and prolonged exposure to moisture. Seamless construction eliminates potential weak points in the form of fabric joins.

elastic circumference and 4 drawstrings

Elastic band distributed around the entire circumference, combined with 4 drawstrings, enables quick and comfortable application of the cover and ensures a stable fit to the backpack, minimising the risk of movement during intense activity in the field.

Savotta

MILITARY is a premium dealer of Savotta.

Savotta is a Finnish family company from Karstula which, since 1955, has been designing and manufacturing backpacks, bags, tents and field kit for the military, rescue services and people who value time in the field. The brand's kit has been supplied to the Finnish Defence Forces continuously since the 1960s, meeting the rigorous standards required of military equipment. Savotta builds its products with durability in mind, which is why it uses top-tier materials such as Cordura, and almost all raw materials (97%) come from suppliers within the European Union. The brand also stands out for its own proprietary solutions: the Rapid Adjustment Slider instant adjustment system, frames made from polyethylene sheets and laser-cut PALS/MOLLE-compatible attachment points. Every design is created in Finland, and all manufacturing remains within the borders of the European Union. Along with growing interest, the brand expanded production - since 2025 its products have been made in three countries: Finland, Estonia and Poland. Regardless of where a given item was manufactured, it undergoes final quality control at the Finnish headquarters in Karstula.

Purchased for my Savotta packs as they do seem to absorb a lot of water when it rains. This cover can pack down to a small size meaning its easy to carry without losing any storage space. Decided to spend a bit extra on a Savotta one as I needed something which was a bit more durable and would survive when moving through woodlands.
