This Salewa rain jacket is excellent. The quality of workmanship is at a high level, it is very lightweight, and the Gore-Tex membrane effectively protects against rainfall. The jacket breathes well, which makes it comfortable to wear even on warmer days. I think it was worth its price, although it was not the cheapest. I hope it will last me a long time. I definitely recommend it for mountain trips.

Windproof and waterproof jacket sewn from a two-layer GORE-TEX laminate , featuring a waterproof rating of 28,000 mm/m2. A breathable membrane and a zipper at the underarm area guarantee ventilation and thermal comfort during use. The outer fabric is treated with DWR impregnation that does not contain environmentally harmful PFC compounds.
A high collar, combined with an adjustable hood, provides protection during rain and gales. Velcro adjustable cuffs and a drawstring at the bottom of the jacket provide further protection against the cold. The jacket also features taped seams and a waterproof main zipper.
In addition, two exterior zippered pockets were used: two on the sides additionally covered with a flap , and one interior pocket.

Fantastic jacket with a Gore-Tex membrane, completely waterproof. I was considering buying an Arcteryx, but their prices are much higher, so I chose Salewa and I do not regret this decision.
