This Salewa rain jacket is excellent. The quality of workmanship is very high, it's very lightweight, and the Gore-Tex membrane protects effectively against rain. The jacket breathes well, making it comfortable to wear even on warmer days. I think it was worth its price, although it wasn't the cheapest. I hope it will serve me for a long time. I strongly recommend it for mountain trips.

A windproof and waterproof jacket crafted from a two-layer GORE-TEX laminate, boasting a waterproof rating of 28,000 mm/m2. Equipped with a breathable membrane and underarm zippers, it ensures optimal ventilation and thermal comfort in use. The outer fabric is treated with DWR impregnation that excludes environmentally harmful PFC chemicals.
A high collar, paired with an adjustable hood, offers protection in rain and strong winds. Velcro-adjustable cuffs and a drawstring at the hem further shield against the cold. The jacket is also designed with taped seams and a waterproof main zipper.
Additionally, the jacket includes two external zippered pockets: two along the sides, each covered with a flap, and one internal pocket.

Fantastic jacket with a Gore-Tex membrane, completely waterproof. I was considering buying an Arc'teryx, but their prices are much higher, so I chose Salewa and I don't regret this decision.
