Salewa Ortles 2 Powertex Down Jacket - Faded Green

The trekking jacket in Faded Green protects against adverse weather conditions. Designed with everyday use in mind. The optimised construction allows for full freedom of movement and adequate breathability, ensuring high comfort of use. The jacket meets strict ecological standards, as confirmed by Bluesign and RDS certifications.

The model is made of two-layer Powertex material, in Rip-Stop weave, effectively protecting against wind and moisture. In Rip-Stop weave, making the garment more resistant to abrasion and damage in particularly exposed areas. The interior is finished with durable nylon. Additionally, the material is coated with a hydrophobic DWR (Durable Water Repellent) layer, free of harmful PFC compounds. Light duck down 90/10 with a fill power of 750 cuin is distributed in 3D chambers, allowing precise insulation adjustment to individual body parts. The materials used are certified Bluesign and RDS (Responsible Down Standard).

The model has five practical pockets:

A high-collared neckline with an integrated adjustable hood that allows it to be worn with a helmet, effectively protects the neck and head from wind, cold, and precipitation. The jacket features a one-way zip with chin guard protection. Adjustable with velcro cuffs along with drawstrings in the hood and bottom of the jacket allow individual adjustments, reducing the ingress of cold air. The back of the jacket is slightly elongated to shield against wind.
