Salewa Ortles 2 Powertex Down Jacket - Faded Green

The trekking jacket in Faded Green protects against adverse weather conditions. Designed with everyday use in mind. The optimized construction allows for full freedom of movement and appropriate breathability, ensuring high comfort of use. The jacket meets strict ecological standards, as confirmed by Bluesign and RDS certifications.

The model is made from two-layer Powertex material, in Rip-Stop weave, effectively protecting against wind and moisture. In Rip-Stop weave, making the garment more resistant to abrasion and damage in particularly exposed areas. The interior is finished with durable nylon. Additionally, the material is coated with a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) hydrophobic coating, free from harmful PFC compounds. Light duck down 90/10 with a loft of 750 cuin is distributed in 3D chambers, allowing precise insulation adaptation to specific body areas. The materials used have Bluesign and RDS (Responsible Down Standard) certifications.

The design incorporates five functional pockets:

• two hip pockets,
• a chest pocket,
• and two internal pockets.

Collar with a raised fit with an integrated adjustable hood, allowing helmet use, effectively protects the neck and head from wind, cold, and precipitation. The jacket has a one-way zipper with chin protection. Adjustable with Velcro cuffs along with drawstrings in the hood and at the bottom of the jacket allow for individual adjustment, reducing the penetration of cold air. The back of the jacket is slightly extended to shield against wind.
