The NRC emergency sleeping bag is well made and seems durable, so it can be assumed that it will last for more than one use, which is very important. A big plus is the included cover, which makes it much easier to store the sleeping bag after use and protects the foil from damage. Bought just in case. Express delivery! I recommend it.

An emergency thermal sleeping bag is one of the indispensable components of any survival kit. Thanks to its multifunctionality, it will find use in hiking, outdoor, rescue and even uniformed services. The NRC sleeping bag is designed to protect a person's body from rapid heat loss, insulate from the ground temperature and protect from adverse weather conditions such as wind or rain.
It is made of waterproof and durable polyester. Its surface is metallized on both sides in silver and orange. The reflective color makes it easy to find an injured person in the field.
The dimensions of the sleeping bag when unfolded flat are 210 x 100 cm. When folded, the whole thing is compact and can easily fit into a backpack compartment or jacket pocket.
The sleeping bag can also be used as:
- a thermal blanket to cover the body,
- the inner insulation of a classic sleeping bag,
- a picnic blanket or the floor of a tent, insulating from the cold and moisture of the ground,
- a way of transmitting a signal by reflecting light.
