A miniature and very lightweight saw. It handles thin branches well. Perfect for a backpack or a forest pouch. Attractive price in relation to its functionality.

The saw looks unimpressive and delicate, so I have doubts whether it will manage when cutting. However, it has the advantage of being very small, light, and after folding takes up almost no space. It’s one of those gadgets where it’s better to have it than not. Also, the price is attractive.

Obviously, you can’t cut down a hundred-year-old oak with this, but it should easily handle smaller branches. Given the price and small size, it’s definitely worth having on hand – it takes up a tiny amount of space and weighs almost nothing.

This is another saw of this type in my gear. It works brilliantly and is very practical. It takes up almost no space in your backpack, and if you need to cut a few thicker branches, it does the job perfectly. I recommend it.

Maybe I was lucky with my unit, but despite complaints from others, the saw worked great. I cut a birch log over 30 cm thick with it. It may not be very durable, but it’s light, compact and suitable for emergencies.

Unfortunately, the saw did not meet expectations – during the first bonfire, it snapped when trying to cut through a branch about 12-13 cm thick. On thinner twigs, it would jam after a few strokes. In the end, I used a manual folding saw from Castorama and it was done in two minutes.

I bought it just in case. As someone wrote earlier, for thinner branches it’s fine, but cutting thicker ones is already a problem. Sometimes it gets stuck. Still, for this price – it’s fine.

A well-priced product. Worth having just in case, as it takes up almost no space and can be useful not just for sawing small branches.

A lightweight saw that cuts well, is cheap and takes up very little space in a handbag or rucksack. It’s not long, but it’s a great piece of kit for emergencies – you just need a bit of strength.

Taking into account the idea, price and size, I give it a score of 4. It’s not very comfortable to use (best to wear gloves, not too thick, as the handles are small). You can forget about thicker branches, but branches up to 5 cm in diameter can be cut. As an emergency solution (considering the price and size), it’s worth having with you.

I bought it out of curiosity to see how it works. Let me say – it’s not impressive, it often gets stuck while sawing. You can cut with it, but saws from Victorinox or Leatherman perform much better.

Very good tool – you can cut through a tree easily. The handles could be bigger for my hands, but you can solve this with insulating tape. Highly recommended.

I tested it while on holiday. To be honest, you can use it three times, it’s sharp. This product should help in a crisis situation. It cuts, but you have to put a bit of effort in. It does its job well. I recommend it.

I tested the saw on hard types of wood – a branch about 5 cm in diameter, lying on the ground and pressed with my foot, could only be cut initially – the saw would stop after 5 mm because it jammed. It was easy to pull out. If the saw wraps around the middle of the branch, there’s a lot of friction and you can’t cut further. But when the branch hangs freely and the saw is tight like a string, you can manage to cut through. Maybe I’m not using it properly, but personally I think next time I’ll go for a saw with a metal blade like a classic chainsaw, because I didn’t have such problems with those.

Small and lightweight saw, tested on a cut trunk, worked without any issues and is easy to hide anywhere. The only drawback is slightly sore fingers after use.
