The price also shows that you can’t expect too much from it; curiosity was really what drove me as well. It can handle smaller branches, but for prolonged use you need something more heavy-duty.

This saw is a really practical gadget. I tested it on thick branches, and it handled them very well. It’s extremely lightweight, takes up very little space in a rucksack, and the handles are comfortable and don’t cause chafing on your hands. It’s a solid survival tool that is definitely worth having with you. I recommend it!

At this price, it’s hard to expect anything exceptional, especially since it’s just a Badger. I unfolded it and cut through a few thicker sticks, as well as a solid metal bolt. It’s not one of the most comfortable, but as emergency gear it should do the job for a while.

I tried cutting poplar branches as thick as an arm with it. It cut through both dry and still wet branches in a few minutes. It takes a bit of practice, but its size, price, and usefulness definitely make it worth keeping in the backpack.

As part of EDC equipment, it will come in handy in a sudden situation and fulfil its task. It is small, lightweight and easy to hide, e.g. in a pouch. However: -the cutting is weak, sometimes even very poor, -the teeth tend to get clogged and stuck regardless of the cutting method – it couldn’t handle even a few-year-old wet cherry branch with a diameter of about 5 cm, -you need to put in a lot of effort when cutting, other saws would be more convenient, -the handles are not very comfortable.

Obviously, you can’t cut down a hundred-year-old oak with this, but it should easily handle smaller branches. Given the price and small size, it’s definitely worth having on hand – it takes up a tiny amount of space and weighs almost nothing.

This is another saw of this type in my gear. It works brilliantly and is very practical. It takes up almost no space in your backpack, and if you need to cut a few thicker branches, it does the job perfectly. I recommend it.

Unfortunately, the saw did not meet expectations – during the first bonfire, it snapped when trying to cut through a branch about 12-13 cm thick. On thinner twigs, it would jam after a few strokes. In the end, I used a manual folding saw from Castorama and it was done in two minutes.
