Javel Aqua Water Purification Tablets - 20 pcs.

Soluble chlorine tablets designed for purifying water from unknown or potentially contaminated sources. They effectively eliminate microorganisms present in water that can cause gastrointestinal issues. The tablets are efficient, lightweight, easy to store, and have a long shelf life. Perfect for expeditions, travel to tropical countries, and training in harsh conditions.

Instructions for use

To purify water, add 1 tablet to 1 liter of water and wait 30 minutes. If possible, pre-filtering is recommended, especially for water of uncertain origin. After 30 minutes, the water is safe to drink. If there is a risk of amoeba (Entamoeba histolytica), use 2 tablets per 1 liter of water and wait 60 minutes.

The active substance NaDCC is recommended by the WHO in drinking water quality guidelines.

European standards

This product complies with EN standards (12931, 12933) concerning chemical water purification methods in epidemiological threats such as cholera, typhoid, dysentery, or intestinal infections. Review summary

Automatically prepared based on reviews

Javel Aqua tablets are widely seen as an effective and easy way to treat water from uncertain sources during travel, outdoor trips, and emergency situations. Reviewers praise their compact size, low weight, long shelf life, and affordable price, which makes them a popular item for rucksacks, first-aid kits, bug-out bags, and as a backup to water filters. The most common drawback is a chlorine-like or chemical taste and the waiting time after use, but most users see that as an acceptable trade-off for safer drinking water. Several reviews also note that the tablets work best alongside mechanical filtration, especially when the water is cloudy or may contain chemical contaminants.

The tablets are useful not only for bushcraft or survival in swampy areas, but also for everyday trips, for example to Egypt or other places where tap water may be unsuitable for us. Without a doubt, they should be in every rcb backpack.

Great product for me personally to use while camping to purify river water. A small downside is the taste; you can take electrolytes with you to change the taste.

The tablets are easy to use and work well as a safeguard when the quality of available water is uncertain. Their compact packaging and long shelf life are major advantages. They are a solid and trustworthy choice for any trip into the field.

I used these tablets in really tough conditions, and so far they have performed very well. After purification, the water did not cause me any stomach problems, and in situations like that, that is what matters most. The tablets themselves are small, easy to carry, and take up virtually no space. If someone is looking for a simple emergency way to purify water, I can recommend them without hesitation.

It’s worth taking not only for hiking, but also to any place where water of unknown origin is available. It complements my water filtration system excellently and is an integral part of my first aid kit.

I have a water filter/purifier, but I like to double up and pop in a purification tablet as well, especially when collecting water from particularly dodgy water sources. The price is reasonable, and it’s definitely worth having some on hand for emergencies.

I keep the tablets in my RCB backpack. I tested them once and had no health problems, so I believe they are effective. After use, the water has a distinctive taste, but it's not unpleasant. An advantage is also the long shelf life.

I was curious to try this product. I had the opportunity to use the tablets to purify water from an unknown source during a three-day mountain camping trip. Although the water was truly contaminated, the tablets worked. They leave a slight chlorine taste, but nothing overwhelming. The product is very light, and it's always useful to have with you on trips like this.

Javel Aqua water purification tablets – I bought 20 pieces as a precaution, so I can purify water from unverified sources while travelling in unfamiliar areas.

I put the tablets in my first aid kit. I take them with me both when camping and when traveling abroad. I hope I won't have to use them.

I purchased the tablets as an addition to my water filter. They have a long shelf life. They are helpful when sourcing water during camping trips and are a great addition to travel equipment. The parcel arrived very quickly. I recommend them.

For this price, Javel tablets are an essential item to have in your backpack. They are lightweight, easy to use, and effectively purify water. They have a long shelf life and fit in your pocket, which is a big advantage. The only drawback is a slight chlorine taste, but in an emergency situation, it doesn't matter much.

I bought tablets instead of a water filter, but I haven't used them yet. They have a long expiry date, and their action is typical for this kind of product. They may come in handy outside the house, but for now they're just lying around waiting to be used. I recommend them.
