Badger Outdoor Survival Ultralight Thermal NRC Tarp

Emergency Thermal Blanket is one of the essential items in any survival kit. Due to its multifunctionality, it can be used in tourism, outdoor activities, rescue operations, and even by law enforcement. The NRC blanket is designed to protect the body from rapid heat loss, isolate from the ground temperature, and protect against adverse weather conditions, such as wind or rain.   

It is made of waterproof and durable plastic whose surface reflects up to 90 percent of heat, protecting the body from hypothermia. It is double-sided metallized in silver and orange colors. The foil effectively reflects heat and helps locate the injured person thanks to the reflective color.  

The dimensions of the blanket when laid flat are 206 x 130 cm, and its weight is 70 g. The tarp can be unfolded in various ways, e.g., using a rope or paracord and any surrounding (trees, rocks, ground depressions), trekking poles, paddles, or even a bicycle.  
 
When folded, it is compact, so it fits easily into a backpack compartment or jacket pocket.
