The equipment seems durable. The sound from the whistle is strong. I ordered two pieces – the compasses show different directions, one has a small air bubble, the other a much larger one, which affects the differences in north indications. The built-in torch is a plus.

A practical and interesting gadget at an attractive price. The material is decent. The whistle is loud, with a steady tone. There's a mirror included. The magnifying glass works. The LED light is strong enough for signalling, though nothing spectacular, and the battery can be replaced. It will be visible after dark. The compass has been tested against a field compass – it points north well. The compass and thermometer are liquid-filled. The thermometer shows the approximate ambient temperature (the size is small, so it's harder for the manufacturer to calibrate well), if you hold it for a moment without touching – it works correctly. Results compared with a mechanical weather station.

I haven't tested the operation of the compass or the thermometer yet, those tests are still ahead of me, but the device looks well-made. The whistle works as standard – I have no complaints, but I also don't expect anything extraordinary.

A small whistle with extra functions, turns out to be practical. The whistle is loud enough to be heard from a distance. The thermometer doesn't always show the correct temperature, the compass helps to find north, but it isn't accurate enough for navigation.
