I included the thermal sleeping bag in my bug-out bag because it adds extra warmth to the sleeping bag, takes up little space, and the price is attractive. Additionally, an emergency whistle is included in the set, which is a big plus.

The first impression is very positive: the sleeping bag is extremely small, packed into a practical pouch with a drawstring, incredibly light and it practically doesn't take up any space in the backpack. I also appreciate the included emergency whistle. I think that combined with a survival tent, it will allow for a safe night in difficult conditions.

Made from heat-reflective material, it provides effective protection against the cold, which is hugely important in an emergency situation. It is lightweight and takes up little space, making it easy to pack into a backpack – ideal for survival kits. During a cold night, it provided an extra layer of insulation. However, you must remember that it is for emergency situations and will not replace a classic sleeping bag. The material is solid, although it does rustle, which might bother some people. For a small amount of money, you get a product that can protect your health or even your life. I definitely recommend it to anyone going on field trips or wanting to have some extra protection just in case.

The NRC Badger Outdoor Ultralight Bivy Bag thermal sleeping bag is good protection for overnight stays in tough conditions. I tested it by sleeping in it in a draughty conference room during a trip and it protected very well against the draft. I definitely recommend it.

A very practical and compact item for emergencies. It's lightweight and doesn't take up much space – in my opinion, it's ideal for a BOB or for demanding expeditions where anything can happen.

This 'sleeping bag' or bivy sheet made of NRC foil, when packed up, is really tiny – it fits in one hand. When unfolded, it can easily fit one person, even with a sleeping bag, so you can have a minimalist 'tent' for sleeping under the open sky, in a cave, or in the forest. I recommend it.

A small product, very handy. In spite of this, it is very efficient and useful. I planned to use it when sleeping in a snow cave, but haven't had the opportunity yet. In other tests it met my expectations.

The product comes packed in a small pouch. After use, it can be put back, but it requires a proper technique to remove all the air. It is airtight. The joint with black tape could be made more carefully, but overall, it is perfectly functional. Of course, it has some flaws – this solution is intended for emergency circumstances, and using it daily or as an external insulation for a sleeping bag is excessive.
