Primus Express Spider II Backpacking Stove Travel Burner

Ultralight travel burner with a 2000 W output, fitted with a mounting system enabling connection to threaded gas cartridges. This model can bring 1 litre of water to the boil in around 5 minutes. Its low weight, approximately 200 g, and the included transport pouch make it easy to carry the device. The burner design ensures excellent stability, while the integrated gas preheating coil boosts performance in low temperatures.

The construction is made from lightweight yet highly durable stainless steel and brass, providing strong resistance against mechanical damage and corrosion. A specially shaped support protects the flame from wind and ensures stability for pots and pans, with a serrated finish that minimises the risk of cookware slipping.

The adjustable pressure valve ensures a consistent gas flow even in challenging conditions, such as high altitudes, low temperatures or prolonged cooking. The concentrated flame is designed for maximum heat efficiency and reduced energy loss, helping you save on fuel consumption. The burner works especially well with cookware featuring a heat exchanger, such as Primus PrimeTech systems. A heat reflector is included, increasing cooking efficiency by directing thermal energy onto your pot and minimising losses caused by wind.

The burner is equipped with a built-in gas preheating coil. This feature promotes gas evaporation before combustion, ensuring consistent burner operation even in cold conditions. An optional upgrade with the Express Spider MultiFuel Kit allows you to convert the device into a multi-fuel burner, compatible with white gas, unleaded petrol and paraffin.
