I have been using these shoes for over two years now and I am really satisfied with them, but it's time to buy another pair. I would like to point out that they are extremely comfortable and have never caused any chafing, even when I ran in wet shoes or used them on training grounds. They fit the foot perfectly and look good. Unfortunately, after about a year, the seam near the logo came apart, which did not affect comfort but looked unattractive. After two years, the material at the bend started to tear, a small hole appeared, and the sole started to come off, so I have to buy a new pair.

This is already my second purchase of these shoes, but it will be the last. The footwear is comfortable and copes well with various weather conditions. Unfortunately, in both pairs after about a year of use, the heels start to fray due to the sewn-in rubber logo at the back. The shoes were used intensely during patrols, so they had a lot of work. It's a shame, because if it weren't for this flaw, I would gladly buy them again.

The Pentagon Odos boots are truly a solid option for people looking for comfortable and durable footwear. I think the quality of workmanship is high: they are well finished and the materials used are solid.

Unfortunately, Pentagon hasn't considered solutions for people with high insteps. The shoes themselves look fine, although there is little leather and a lot of synthetic materials. The problem with the high instep is significant.

After a month of using them, I consider these shoes to be truly solid. I previously used Merrell Moab 2 and in my opinion, in terms of comfort when putting on and taking off, the Pentagon, despite lacking zips, is more comfortable. For everyday use, the differences are small, and I’ll share my view on the lifespan of the Pentagon's waterproof membrane in a few months. In the Merrells, water started getting in after two to three months. Pentagon boots seem strong and durable, after breaking in they are less stiff and support the foot well. In my opinion, they are suitable both for outdoor use and for the city. At this point, I definitely recommend them.

The shoes look durable, but be careful with the sizing! It's always worth checking the insole length, not just the size. I have to exchange mine from 41 to 43, as they turned out to be too small. The shoe isn’t too heavy, has a comfortable insole. Big plus for the height, the contoured upper, and the reinforced toe.

The shoes are professional, well made and sturdy. They are light and perform excellently in the field. The sizing is accurate – I wear 43 daily, and here it was perfect too. Very comfortable – I had no problems with leakage. I sincerely recommend this product to others!

Bought for my son, who is studying in a uniformed class. After two months of use, they are still in great condition. They’ve already been through several field exercises and outdoor airsoft, yet there are no visible signs of wear. The size was right, his feet don’t sweat, and so far, no water has got in.

After about half an hour of riding a motorcycle on a wet road in the rain, the shoes did get wet – my socks were wet. The shoes are comfortable, but due to the lack of waterproofing, unfortunately, they are useless for me.

After a month of using these shoes, I think it’s a very good choice. I previously had Merrell Moab 2 and in terms of comfort of putting on and taking off, even without zips, the Pentagons fare even better than the Merrells. The overall comfort is similar, but regarding the durability of the waterproof membrane in the Pentagons, I can't comment yet – in the Merrells, they started leaking after 2–3 months. I’ll be able to say more in some time. The shoes are solidly made, after breaking in they're less stiff, but still provide good stability. They are versatile: they work in the mountains, forest, and city. At this point, I wholeheartedly recommend them!

After a month of use, I think these shoes are really very good. Previously, I had Merrell Moab 2 and I must admit that in terms of ease of putting on and taking off, despite the lack of zips, the Pentagons are much more comfortable than the Merrells. In use, both models are similar, but I still can't assess the durability of the waterproof membrane in the Pentagons – in the Merrells water started to seep in after about 2–3 months. For a full opinion on this point, I need a few more months. The shoes seem solid and strong; after some time they become less stiff, but they still hold the feet well. They work both in the mountains, the forest, and in the city. At this point, I definitely recommend them.

So far, I’m satisfied – the shoes look good, don’t let water in. Unfortunately, the sizing runs small and the given insole length doesn’t match either. You need to order larger than usual. I get the impression that Greeks have smaller feet. The trousers I bought in the same size as Helikon do not fit as they should.

  13. R...

The sizing runs small – instead of my usual 42 I had to choose 44, but that's a matter of preference. The shoes are well made, they don't stretch out to the shape of the foot too much, but even now they fit well and support the foot nicely. I like the cushioning in the sole. For this price – I recommend them.

The shoes are well made and reasonably priced. The downside is the small sizing – you need to buy a size bigger to make them comfortable. I will have to take mine to a cobbler to have them stretched, as I thought they would stretch by themselves, and that was my mistake.

The shoes serve their purpose – they are comfortable, quite light, and arrived quickly. I recommend them.
