The trousers are made from durable material that resists damage, and they have plenty of practical pockets, which is a big plus at this price. The downside is the lack of waist adjustment – the material is fairly stiff and if the size isn’t perfect, the smaller one may be tight (especially as they are high-waisted), while the larger, although fitting well at the waist, might be too loose elsewhere, causing the legs to rub. I therefore recommend trying the trousers on first, as it’s difficult to get the right size otherwise.

Regular size 50 fits perfectly for a person who is 182 cm tall and weighs 106 kg. These are the first trousers where I had absolutely no problems choosing the right size. Contrary to appearances, the legs are not too tight, and at the same time — unlike Helikon trousers — they do not look baggy. The trousers provide freedom of movement, and the pockets are arranged very practically. On the very day of delivery, I placed another order, this time for my son. If other colours appear in my size, I will definitely buy them again.

I have these trousers in 3 colours, and green is my favourite. They are very well made and have a good fit, also for people with a belly. They are a bit too long for my stocky build, but that can be sorted by turning them up or shortening them. Despite the synthetic fibre content, the fabric is very comfortable to wear and durable. The pockets are deep and roomy. What I don’t like as much is the hook-and-loop fastening over the back pocket. I prefer buttons. My favourite remains the BW moleskin trousers from Leo Köhler.

The trousers are a little too long for me, but that is very easy to sort out. The quality seems superb to me, with a nice ripstop fabric, and there are plenty of pockets. I find this green colour beautiful and unusual.

A very good brand that I’ve just discovered. The trousers are great, so I bought 2 more. Very good material, durable and with quite a lot of pockets. I like the cut. Extremely comfortable to wear. The Pentacamo camouflage is very good and nice for fans of tiger stripe and multicam. It’s not easy to find the right size, so I ordered 2 to make sure I got the correct one. The return process was super simple and fast. Size 40/34 for 1.90 m and 95 kg.

Pentagon Lycos Trousers Black – a very successful purchase The trousers fully met my expectations. I am 178 cm tall with a standard build, I chose size 34/32 and they fit perfectly. The quality of the material and workmanship is a big plus. The fabric is solid and the stitching is very well done. After receiving them, I only had to trim a few loose threads, but there were very few of them and I absolutely do not consider this a problem. The trousers are flexible and very comfortable to wear. You can easily kneel, squat or sit in them. The cut is well balanced – neither too tight nor too baggy. The pockets are logically placed, spacious and very practical. For my daily mini EDC – foil, fire starter, flashlight, a piece of paracord with a carabiner and a few plasters – everything fits without any issue, and the pockets do not look overstuffed. The main pockets are really very deep. You can put your hand in almost up to the middle of your forearm. With very large items, this may cause a slight overlap with the contents of the cargo pockets, but in normal use it is not a problem for me. I tested the trousers in temperatures around 20–26°C in the shade and, to my surprise, I did not feel hot in them. The material breathes well, which is a big advantage. The black colour also suits me very well. I was worried that the ripstop pattern would be too visible on black, but it actually looks very good and subtle. Combined with a black top, the trousers give a typical contractor look, but at the same time they can easily be worn in the city or to the shop. And most importantly – during use I noticed that mosquitoes stopped biting through them, which is a big plus for my use case. In summary: very good material, solid workmanship, comfortable cut, great pockets and good breathability. The trousers met my expectations so well that I am planning to buy the Pentagon Lycos shorts as well. Definitely recommended.

I really like the cut of these trousers and the placement of the pockets. However, I think they are mainly suitable for wearing in the city, as their seams are not very durable. I had a problem with the first pair – they tore at the crotch while bending down. After exchanging them for a new pair, I experienced exactly the same situation again. Unfortunately, I am disappointed with their average quality.

The trousers are excellent in terms of cut, pocket placement, fabric quality, and workmanship. Unfortunately, guided by the size chart, I made a poor choice of size. Additionally, they have a very low rise, almost like hipsters, which made me feel like they were about to fall off, and when squatting I was worried about showing the so-called 'builder's bum'. In the end, I decided to return them.

Very well tailored, the material is pleasant, although unfortunately a stain appeared that could not be washed out. The biggest problem, unfortunately, is the threads – they come out of the fabric and the seams start to unravel after just two weeks of normal wear, without heavy use. The stitching definitely needs improvement! The price, however, is really good!
