The hat is well-made, with no unnecessary additions. I chose the olive colour, which matches my other accessories like gloves and a scarf. It proved itself during frosts down to -15/-18°C, and it is indeed warm. Unfortunately, after just a few days the material at the back, at the bottom of the hat where it touches the collar of my jacket, started to pill. However, that's not the most important thing – what matters more is that the hat is genuinely universal, but the size is smaller than I expected. I have a fairly average or even smaller head circumference, yet the hat often slips off my head, exposing my ears, and after a while, I end up with it perched on top of my head. For several days now I've been constantly readjusting and pulling it down, but the situation hasn’t changed. I’m writing this so that people with a larger head circumference think carefully before buying, or be prepared to adjust it often, like me.
