Well done Pentagon! I've been looking for a cold weather parka that meets a number of criteria for a while, and this model ticks all the boxes. - Durability is spot on thanks to the Rip-Stop nylon and the different Cordura zones. - Waterproofing is also thanks to the double-laminated PUx2 coating, which performs its role perfectly. - The 200 g/m2 Primaloft Silver HiLoft Ultra light synthetic fill insulation (the most important criterion for me) is extremely effective whilst remaining thin and lightweight. The high fleece-lined collar provides effective protection against wind and cold, and an additional elasticated cord placed inside the collar allows for precise adjustment. Protection against the cold is further reinforced by adjustable Velcro cuffs and elastic cuffs. And the detail that makes all the difference is an internal belt at waist height, fastened with press studs, which offers extra protection from the wind. - Despite all this, it still has optimum ventilation thanks to under-arm vents, which can be opened or closed using two-way zips (the only downside is these can be a bit tricky to close when wearing the jacket, but nobody does it better, so that's fine). - Comfort is also present; although it's a heavy-duty cold weather parka, so a jacket with substantial insulation and quite long, it's really very comfortable and does not restrict movement. The inner part is very soft, and attention to detail is obvious, with a soft fabric shield added inside the high collar to protect the chin from chafing and accidental nicks from the zip. - It's very practical thanks to a multitude of very large pockets, plus two well-placed and designed pockets for warming your hands. The hood is also well thought out and can easily be detached if necessary. - And lastly, the style. The fit is very good, it's got a lovely cut, and the colour (7013) is superb. I highly recommend this jacket! And I hope Pentagon will continue to offer it. PS: A quick note to Military.eu, if you can restock the HCP trousers in Coyote colour in size S and length 34, that would be great, as after trying the jacket, I'm dreaming of these trousers.

Really great winter jacket with a good cut and feels very nice to the touch. The workmanship appears solid and durable as expected from Pentagon. Very comfortable to wear in cold temperatures. As always, fast and uncomplicated delivery. Clear purchase recommendation.

This is by far the best jacket I have ever had or seen. The nylon is of very good quality, comes in various textures and weaves – the material is pleasant to the touch and durable everywhere, and there are plenty of unique details here that you won't find in jackets from popular stores. The jacket is thoughtfully made, for example, the very spacious pockets allow you to store a lot of things and you can't see the difference from the outside because the cut still looks good. Despite being quite large and reaching mid-thigh length, the jacket is light. It is warm, provides effective protection against wind and snow. It's worth adding that it looks aesthetically pleasing, is versatile and my partner also likes it a lot. The dark colour scheme will work both in the city and the office as well as for a walk in the woods with the dog. The jacket truly deserves praise, I have a feeling it will serve me for many years and I have no desire to return to popular brands that cost half or a third of this one's price but have much lower quality. I honestly recommend it!
