Omegon 2.1x42 Binoculars

Compact astronomical binoculars with a 42 mm diameter objective lens and fixed 2.1x magnification, designed for observing extensive areas of the night sky. Thanks to the low magnification of 2.1x and the very wide field of view of 26 degrees, it allows you to observe entire constellations, extensive star fields, and bright deep-sky objects in their natural environment. The design enables you to see far more stars than with the naked eye while maintaining image naturalness.

The binoculars use a Galilean optical system, devoid of prisms that invert the image, allowing for a very wide field of observation and high image contrast. The manufacturer has used 42 mm diameter objective lenses that efficiently gather light, allowing you to see structures of the Milky Way, star clusters, and nebulae. The body made from durable metal ensures resistance to mechanical damage and stability of the entire construction. The binoculars are splash-resistant, and a 1/4" tripod thread allows them to be mounted on a photographic tripod, increasing convenience during extended observations.

All optical surfaces are coated with multi-layered anti-reflective coatings that reduce light loss and eliminate unwanted glare, allowing for a high-contrast image, natural colour reproduction, and good clarity. The binoculars are equipped with large eyepieces and an individual focus adjustment system for each eye, allowing precise image adjustment to the user's vision. Threads at the ends of the lenses allow for the use of astronomical filters. The model features a wide field of view of 46 m/100 m (26 degrees), permitting observation of a significant area without the need to frequently move the binoculars.

The set includes a case made from durable nylon, characterised by increased abrasion resistance and moisture protection, safeguarding the binoculars during transport and storage. Additionally, the binoculars are equipped with a wrist strap, enabling convenient and safe transport of equipment during field observations.
