Olight ArkTac Flashlight 1700 Lumens - OD Green

A flat, multi-purpose tactical torch from the ArkTac line, machined from a single block of 6061 aluminium. The model delivers a light output of up to 1700 lumens and a range of up to 205 metres, offering four separate light sources: focused (Spotlight with EIP 1 optics), flood (Pure Flood), red and ultraviolet (UV 365 nm). The integrated rechargeable battery allows runtime of up to 20 days in the lowest white light mode, while the advanced Tst. F proximity sensor protects against accidental activation of the torch in a pocket or on accoutrement.

The low-profile body, only 17 mm thick, weighs 136 g and is made from a single block of 6061 aerospace-grade aluminium using unibody technology, which translates into high mechanical resistance and durability against impacts and pressure. The construction meets the IPX7 waterproof standard, meaning full protection against moisture ingress when submerged to a depth of 1 metre for 30 minutes, and is additionally resistant to drops from heights of up to 1.5 metres. The head is fitted with a reinforced bezel (strike bezel) with ceramic balls made of silicon nitride (silicon nitride), designed for emergency glass breaking. Stable carry is ensured by an integrated metal deep carry clip mounted on the side of the body.

The optical system integrates four specialised light sources: a focused long-range Spotlight beam powered by the EIP 1 system with a regular main beam and wide side illumination, a wide-angle Pure Flood flood beam intended for close-range tasks, discreet red light that preserves dark adaptation, and a UV diode (365 nm) with output up to 1200 mW for document verification and trace detection. For emergency situations, there is a tactical strobe with a frequency of 13 Hz and an SOS mode. Safety is provided by the integrated Tst. F (Time-of-Flight) distance sensor, which automatically blocks torch activation after detecting an obstacle within 5 cm (±2 cm) of the lens, reducing the risk of lens overheating and unwanted battery drain.

The torch is powered by a built-in rechargeable battery with a 2050 mAh lithium-ion cell, maintaining stable voltage at operating temperatures from 0 to 45 degrees Celsius. The model is equipped with a dual charging system (Dual Charging): either using the magnetic MCC4 cable on the underside of the body or via the integrated USB-C port protected by a rubber cover. On the front face there is a micro-perforated indicator panel (dashboard), providing information on brightness level, cell charge status, active lockout and moonlight mode. When the energy level drops below 10%, Power Saving Mode is activated automatically, maintaining an output of 3 lumens for an additional 2 hours.

The compact, flattened design and steel deep carry clip ensure stable carry of the torch in clothing pockets, on carry straps or on accoutrement webbing without protruding excessively from the body. The body is also fully prepared for use with the optional ArkSnap magnetic holster, equipped with a mechanical lock and quick-release buttons, allowing mounting on duty belts up to 2 inches wide and on MOLLE-compatible accoutrement.

Operation of the model is based on two control zones (Dual Control Zones). At the rear there is a two-stage tactical switch (Tail Switch), where a light press activates close-range mode (Pure Flood), while a deeper press activates the focused long-range beam (Spotlight). Next to it is the programmable CommandPoint button, providing instant access to strobe by default, with the option to assign a shortcut to red or UV light. The front zone includes a rotary selector ring (Rotary Selector) for choosing the light source and a central button intended for smooth adjustment of brightness levels.
