The karabiner seems sturdy. The buckle is wide and easy to attach gloves to. On the other side there's a small ring – I was planning to hook it onto a belt loop, but it still does its job. If needed, you can replace it with a bigger one. The lock works properly; I recommend buying the model with a lock, because those without it can unclip themselves and get lost – I’ve had that happen.

I chose this carabiner because I lost an ordinary double-sided one without a lock during a game. I have no idea how it happened, even though it was attached to an additional belt loop on my Helikon trousers. I think Nite Ize carabiners have too weak a closure, which is why it's worth buying models with an extra lock.
